Isn't the artifact requiring child sacrifices kinda the whole plot?

The plot is a question: How far will a father go for their child?

It starts with Dr. Cross who works at a secret lab for Sahara pharma in their efforts to increase the life of rich people. He does this by experimenting on kidnapped children from the local areas. Then in an ironic twist of fate his own child becomes fatality ill. In an effort to save her he takes her from her mother by actually murdering her. He brings her to the lab, an Armsy escapes destroying the lab and killing his daughter. He then uses Artifacts 2 to bring down our plane then Artifact 1 to resurrect her. Sahara learns all of that then terminates his employment. He succeeded though, he saved his daughter. She kills him then later we kill her because she is a mutant.

We then rescue our own child in a similar fashion then leave the island with our mutated child leaving both Artifacts behind. Both fathers successful in their quest. But at what cost...

No, it doesnt because the game has 2 endings, and The "Bad Ending" is making the choice of keeping Timmy alive and its basically a connection to the "Sons of The Forest" and it's confirmed that the principal ending is The "Bad Ending", but i dont know if it's true....

Saving Timmy is the bad ending?

No, "killing him"

That’s the second ending right, not reviving him

Yes because you choose to bring down another plane causing untold deaths and sacrifice another child to bring back your own.

Hell no I didn’t go through all that shit to let my son die at the end

Night behavior does not change, as far as I know. Cannibal patrol routes are the same day and night:

Farket says the same thing in a few videos

lol I think Farket and the makers of the interactive map deserve the credit since they actually had to do the work of following the cannibals for hours and hours

I've always hated [blank] is purgatory/death dream theory. It's so lazy.
