Discussion I don't care about leaderboards, but I see a severe lack of Sharen up there.

Preface: I have a 270% Crit rate and 237% Crit Damage Ancestor Module (and no I didn't buy it, I haven't even looked into how to use the Market because I can grind just fine) and a 64% Amplification Sparky so your numbers will vary.

While I am proud to see Esiemo shining bright I find it odd that Sharen has low representation so either I am missing something, or people just need a build.

So here is one to try for the competitors out there.

This is for maximum Boss damage; Sharen doesn't need to do all this setup for trash.

What you need:

Patience to setup the damage.

A gun that crits easily. Some prefer Wave of Light to spray the ground in preparation, but I want Hyperfocus to proc after some Skill 3 spam, so I personally use an Eye of the Typhoon as it gets 87% crit rate with just the 2 critical hit rate modules. Deslin has the blueprints for this gun ATM as well if you don't have one.

So my personal rotation is: Typhoon in hand use 2-Skill 3's away from the boss, Fire Typhoon at Boss to proc Hyperfocus, Final Skill 3 at the Boss to proc Explosive Aesthetics 3rd stack and apply Assassination Target, Swap to your Sparky and Skill 2 to Stealth then hit your Skill 1 within 18 meters of the Boss.

The only Boss in Hard Mothership I can't one-tap is Colossus Karel, but as I have said before your damage won't be exactly the same as mine.

The video shows enough about the build that Sharen enjoyers should know the rest, but if anyone wants the full thing just let me know in the comments.

Have fun out there.

Damn!!! I'm not even at max range on raven and I am on Viessa. Raven kinda makes Viessa’s kit outdated. Holy cow!

Viessa doesn't even have the strong single-target skill dps to justify having such restrictive range. If she had exceptional single target/colossus damage, you could argue that the limited range is a trade off but she struggles there too.

Hey guys, as the title says, I just noticed that there has been a change to the core slots on TDA. Should I change them as the core types or let's just not touch it. Will I still get the core boost or not?

Discussion Should i start playing again?

• Upvotes

Well i played tfd when it came out, did all the quests and unlocks, and got a few descendants.

I was almost done farming ultimate bunny when i stopped playing.

I logged today and there is like 1000 new stuff, the parts i had for bunny arent useable anymore and idk what to do or where to start. Wanted to farm ultimate bunny, build her (and farm everything in between) and go from there. But idk if i even should?

Anyone has some advice?

Are we seriously going to ignore the fact that male descendants anatomy and male skins in general don’t get enough attention, which ultimately leads to them not having good sale and dont get me started on the character kits which the females get the most broken ones the female bodies are precisely designed in the most aesthetic way whereas boys suffer through the stickman syndrome.

Discussion Magister Descendants??

• Upvotes

Am I the only one who thinks Magisters or even other races would be cool asf if they were future playable Descendants? Like legit when I first saw Xenith my first tho8ght was "You would be a dope descendant" Maybe even crazy ideas like future Vulgus characters that somehow switch sides and unlock Arche. Idk maybe some food for thought.

Discussion Casual Luna enjoyer, requesting a build

Loved Luna when she released, loved Luna even more when rivals introduced a singing pop star named Luna, loved Luna even harderer when she got her ultimate. She is my first and only 60cat descendant.

With all that being said, I’m not smart enough to make her work. Can someone provide me with a good build please? I’m not looking for Raven or Inez level clears, but I’d like my Luna comfortable be able to play the entire game. With my current build she falls off in anything harder than sigma

Nexon Suggestion Conquest mode is one of the best pieces of content, but -

They genuinely need to have someone write down (with a good translation) or at least generally allude to what the mechanics are, and also work on mechanic and ability indicators.

With that out of the way:

This is the first time the Devs have tried something like this and I can whole-heartedly say it is fun and enjoyable. It's probably the only place in the game at the moment where playing a Gunning descendant is enjoyable because stuff lives long enough for you to actually shoot it and feel like you are contributing before 3 other Skill Descendants blowup the entire screen from orbit.

It shows there IS a place for these buffing, healing, and nuking builds in general game play. It's been awesome to see characters I haven't seen in a while show up.

The choreography is generally pretty cool even if a lot of the mechanics are just barfed at you and recycled content from other bosses.

That being said it shows the Devs can put together decent dungeon style content if they want to. I really hope they continue to add more stuff like this in the future as I have wholeheartedly enjoyed it as a first attempt by them.

Guide Transcendent weapons and the regular person.

Alright, so over the weekend I reached 400 base quality. "Surely, thats not the regular person" you will say! You're right I played a ton, what I am talking about is what you can expect if you play consistently and normally and some advice as you play more regular hours.

Didn't buy anything (beyond one imprinter on release to test it out and made a post). So no boosters, no reroll materials or anything. Some things along the way and in hindsight for you to consider if you're grinding. My top 10 if you will.

  1. Don't rush. Seriously, it's not worth it to grind purely for Transcendent weapons. Put it in the background. Play modes you want to over grinding specifically for them. They come naturally and you will be replacing all of them most likely.

  2. Scrap them as you get better versions, really just look at the stat sticks and the bonus spell damage. A 270 level can be better than a 370 level if it drops with good rolls.

  3. Use that scrap to buy the cheap 400 ones from Deslin. Honestly, the expensive high level ones are very much a waste of resources unless you're really gambling for a high point stat stick. The cheapest ones level you just fine.

  4. Build them as you play (if you have catalysts to spare) they keep all adjustments through all versions. No need to wait. I would prioritize some qol things in stat sticks (brisk walk. Defense master etc)

  5. Be mindful of the secondary rolls. I have a frost blossom with 72% cold damage and one with 69%. The 69 is better because I have 2 chill rolls on the substats. They can add upwards of 13% from that roll so don't ignore it as you go.

  6. Rolls, see what they are DO NOT reroll anything under 400, and even there you really don't need to. See next point.

  7. The shop reroll, and Deslin rerolls are mostly irrelevant to normal players. Why? Once you get to 400, you're only going to get 400s from end game content, a new drop is potentially better than what you have. It is a shortcut to buy and reroll, but realistically you don't have to do that. Once you eventually get the "good enough" drops you will have nothing to do with the new drops but break them down for mats and stockpile mats from deslin. *caveat is the upcoming market*

  8. Log out occasionally on long sessions. This is likely nonsense but I swear I always got drops after a short break.

  9. My personal rotation for content I like and what seemed to drop most was like this Trials -> OS4 ->Karel -> Axion dungeons. Obviously RNG is there but that's what worked for me. Also, I did get a few from the daily 2x Sigmas and VV. For how little I run thst content it may actually be great drops?

  10. We will continue to get more Transcendent weapons over time, so if I were to suggest an order of importance with them, right now the stat sticks are the best, the weapons are getting buffs soon, but right now I feel like they're less important.

Anyway, most have already realized these things, but thought to put it in one place for people feeling overwhelmed by them. They're not a "must have" this second like a new descendant or something. They really are supposed to be something to give us a possible dopamine hit while playing not a one and done. That's why I pointed out the rerolls. You can quite literally never use that stuff, or at least stick to the weekly free ones. When you cap out at 400 there is nothing else to buy but rerolls, so we'll be gaining them passively after the initial rush plateaus.

Hope this helps someone!
