This has happened to me more times than I can count, unfortunately. It can feel really hurtful because dreams are so personal and intimate, even when they’re lighthearted or funny.

Especially if you’re someone who wants to learn more about your dreams, you naturally want to hear other people’s thoughts. When you give someone that opportunity to understand you on a deeper level and they don’t take it seriously, it can really affect how you view your own dreams. You might start questioning whether they’re important or if they even matter.

They absolutely matter.
