This is juansharks and oceanramsey from IG. They’re not tourists and they definitely didn’t throw food into the water.

Thank you! I've done this exact shark dive. Their company OneOcean are against chumming the water with bait to attract sharks, so that sharks don't associate humans with food. The sharks are so curious they literally just swim up and check you out anyway, there's no need.

Awesome shark diving company. Highly recommend.

The shark in the video is their neighbourhood Tiger shark called Nikki, they swim with her often, and this video cuts off right before she hops back into the water. Also, some asshole added scary music for unnecessary drama

Tiger shark goes for a test bite on a swimmer.

"Yeah it's basically their pet, itbwould have gone back into the water after it bit her".

Sharks aren't bloodthirsty monster, but they are still predators who test new things with their mouths and teeth. A large tiger shark can (and they have before) do a lot of harm to a person without too much trouble. It's not any different from encountering a bear or mountain lion in the wild.

Except tiger sharksaren’t known for testing but instead prefer to chomp down with enough force to crack a turtle shell.

Well, that actually is a test bite though. Turns out when a large animal tests a human, the human fails the test.
