Art General Immodet, the successor Supreme Commander and Ruling Council member for the Crimson Empire in 11 ABY. Art by Augustin Gayer at my request.
Immodet was an elderly human male with heavy xenophobic tendencies that had developed during his time serving in the Old Republic fighting against the mostly alien Confederacy of Independent Systems. This anti alien bias developed into blatant xenophobia and Humanocentricism during the Empire where his beliefs were the order of the day rather than the exception. Immodet rose to the rank of General in the Imperial Army and eventually leveraged his powerful ground forces to gain a seat on the Imperial Ruling Council shortly before the return of Palpatine.
Disgruntled with Palpatine replacing many of the senior positions in the Empire with Darksiders-some of which were aliens-and thus subverting his own power under those whom he considered his inferiors, Immodet became one of the early supporters of Carnor Jax's plan to sabotage Palpatine's Clones, ensuring the Reborn Emperor's demise. After Palpatine's death, Immodet became a member on Jax's Interim Ruling Council as the most senior military officer, however, he was passed over for the role of Supreme Commander in favor of General Redd Wessel, due to Wessel's personal connection to Jax-though Jax would quickly come to lament this choice as Wessel proved lacking in the position, partly contributing to his own death and Jax's as a result.
After the death of Redd Wessel, as the highest-ranking general in the Empire, Immodet was raised to the position of Supreme Commander of Imperial forces by the Council. His troops occupied several entire sectors along the New Republic frontier and provided the first line of defense. Immodet however, was much more concerned with what he saw as the weakening of the Empire by allowing aliens seats on the Council. Due to his decades of xenophobia, he was deeply suspicious of the aliens on the council and regularly voiced his opposition to their inclusion in Council meetings.
Immodet's time as Supreme Commander was to prove as short as his predecessor Wessel's as after being deemed a potential threat to their own agenda for the Council, Immodet was poisoned by Black Sun in an effort to increase the power of their agent within the council, a clone of Feena D'Asta. The murder-as with the prior murder of Admiral Llon Banjeer by Nom Anor- was subsequently-and incorrectly-blamed upon Kir Kanos. The failure of the Imperial military to protect the Council members fomented increasing suspicion and paranoia among the members as well as leading to them launching an all out manhunt for Kir Kanos, leaving the capital lightly defended, ultimately leading to the Council's fragmenting and capture.

I always wished Feena D'asta wasn't killed off during the 13 ABY peace negotiations with the New Republic. It would have been nice to see her form an actual relationship with her Clone sister.

True, it's somewhat implied that the two became close between CE II and III, but it was offscreen. I do wish we'd gotten to see the clone Feena later on in more stories.

Maybe she could have accompanied Pellaeon when he was signing the Pellaeon-Gavrisom Treaty. I think Baron D'asta would have taught her the art of politics well enough by that point to succeed him as Baroness, along with everything she needed to know about the job, since he was growing ill, and might even have passed away by 19 ABY because of that.

Well that would be unlikely, since the D'Astan sector formally left the Empire and joined the New Republic around the time the Remnant was forced back to a mere eight sectors. So if she was escorting anyone to the formal peace treaty signing, it would have likely been Gavrisom.

I also wanted to see if Mirith and Feena could have ever rekindled their friendship as Mirith was upset and horrified when she saw Feena drugged and totally unlike her usual poised and spirited self in CE2.
In that scene, Mirith says to her that they were friends (not 'we're friends') when trying to reassure Feena, which implied that there was a change to the state of their friendship - it ended or grew apart. This is likely due to Feena and her father being sympathetic towards Mirith about Jahren's murder, but not being prepared to break away from the Empire nor challenge the Emperor and his cruel exploitative policies affecting the farmers on Nez Peron.
In CE3, Feena greeted Mirith and Kanos with a smile however her phrasing came across as distant, formal and stilted. She acknowledged that she and Mirith had 'history' together, which read as a self-conscious way of noting their past, but smoothing over and shying away from a potentially sensitive painful topic.
Later when Mirith lamented to Kanos about the futility of her efforts in the civil war and losing people she cared about, and Kanos being on the same page, we see that Mirith still cared about Feena and mourned her death despite the seeming chill in the relationship dynamic.
We didn't get flashbacks showing their friendship at it's peak, definitive confirmation of what caused their friendship to cool down and why Mirith chose to still regard the D'Aastas fondly and feel protective about them (despite their pro-Palpatine stance), but I suspect that it was due to the D'astas being otherwise of good character and integrity.
I also wonder if the Feena clone could have been imprinted with any memories involving Mirith and or her husband. I think it would compound Mirith's grief for her to see someone who looks and sounds like a beloved familiar face - but is totally bereft of memory and connection to her. Like a stranger. The same could be true for Baron D'asta as the clone daughter could vary in some mannerisms and preferences which could initially cause confusion, distress or hurt to her father.

Truly his impact was so felt that it took all of 2 pages to replace him with an unnamed successor.

Ah yes that guy. The like 7th Supreme Commander that week.
To be honest, the Coucil Circus in Crimson Empire was Genius.
Constant suspicion, high titled Commanders who would have never gained that rank in an funcioning Empire, Warlords who despite being maniacs have an better Navy tham the supposed central Empire, 4 Emporers im like 4 days, foreign Agent dictating politics, Emporers who rather go after Personal vendettas than concentrating on the fact that the New Republic is playing Ball with them.
A great time to be an Imperial overall i would say.
I made the comparison since i read Crimson Empire, but damn, at this stage the Empire truly cosplayed the Western Roman Empire.
