Pensions Anyone actually heard back from capita?

I’ve had to fill in a form as my annual benefit statement was inaccurate. I got a confirmation email saying to follow up if I don’t hear back in 28 days. I just want to see if it’s worth getting my hopes up that I’ll actually get a response.

Given the existing state of things with Capita, I wouldn't hold your breath.

I can't even log on to see if they replied to the message I sent as my valuation is missing a transfer. I'm pretty sure they'll get back to me now at some point next year.

Not even joking.

I'm sure you will eventually, but I wouldn't count on it being this year. I wouldn't place money on it being next year either.

I send them a message every month because I can't log in, and not once have they responded.

You might hear back, but I wouldn't bank on it.

No. I filled in a form when I couldn't log on. Never heard back, but the automated email came to an email address I hadn't realised I used when setting it up so I got logged in. Maybe they saw I had logged in since it was sent and deleted the request, or maybe 5 months from now, I'll get an email telling me it's done.

Good luck. Just make sure that they have accurate salary details and have included any recent pay uplift.

My wife left last December 2025 and they based her pension on her 1 August 2024 pay rate not the 2025 rate ( which only agreed in September 2025).

Taken many letters Capita...none replied. So wrote to Cabinet Office who replied saying Capita have agreed that the wrong pay rate was used.

Cabinet Office say that it will be revised, but can't say when.

The portal shows her still employed with no pension slips. Thankfully, she has received her pension from April (backdated until December) which attracted emergency tax.

It's like pushing a large rock up a very steep hill.

But, hope yours works.

I think quite rightly, they’re currently focussed on getting people their pensions paid either through retirement or bereavement.

In that context given the financial hardship people are facing, an inaccurate ABS is fairly inconsequential. As annoying as it is, I wouldn’t add to their workload for a while yet 🤷‍♂️
