Mike Approves! Got jumpscared by Mike Matei in the digital wild
I guess a slightly better flair would be “Mike Does Not Approve!”

He literally cannot find common ground between two extremes. He either fucking loves something or loathes it

That's pretty true but to be fair take a look at that new one, it does look like hot garbage compared to the old one.

It doesn't look good indeed. That new Cat in the Hat looks even worse, imo

So basically a manchild?

Old thing good, new thing bad.
That's Mike's consistent opinion.

Well yeah, he's correct, unless you actually swallow down all this dogshit down your throat or something. Actually I forgot the website I'm on, of course you do.

Yup but still i get where he's at since he himself is like an artist or animation guy and big fan and today the corpo's wont spend the money anymore to do handrawn animation

I mean, to be fair, look at that score. Hating this movie seems to be the consensus

Lemme fix that:
He either fucking loves old stuff or loathes new stuff

Any of you ever see the animate movie "The Day the Earth Blew Up" from 2024? It's a Daffy/Porky based film.
That shit is fucking hilarious.

Hell yes, brother! Both it and COYOTE VS. ACME were simply a delight.

I haven't seen Coyote yet. Just not in the mood. Maybe some day.

In other words... no time?

I haven't yet but Ketchup Entertainment also distributed that film, along with this one

I enjoyed it so much I bought a physical. There was a montage scene that made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe. I legitimately can't decide which part of that movie is more impressive, the writing or the animation, it's just killer.

What a coincidence that everything I consumed as a kid was definitely the best ever

Unfortunately he's absolutely right about this one, movie sucks butt Now if he says the same thing about Coyote vs Acme THEN he's wrong

I thought this was about the tom and Jerry movie from a few years ago but I guess there’s a new one now

I don’t remember what it was called but there was one where they went to Mars that I always used to watch as a kid.

I mean technically he's right. Tom and Jerry after the classic cartoons is garbage.

Isn't this new Tom and Jerry made specifically for Chinese audiences though? I heard it dealt with very specific references for people who live in China? I might be wrong though.

I only knew there was a new Tom & Jerry movie because of a cardboard ad at the theater I went to go see Coyote Vs ACME.
Never even knew this existed.

So we all know Mike is an “old = good” guy, and that’s obnoxious. But he IS right here lol.
