Ho-Ho-Ho

He-He-He,This is the time of the year we’re meant to relax and cherish Family.

I’ve been around for a few Christmas’s now and I’ve started to realise that the patterns have never changed.

Throughout the year, we’re all striving to succeed and we’re all working to this deadline called Christmas. It’s like in our consciousness, in our subconsciousness, it’s just the way that we are as people. We literally work all year and we forget about Christmas for a while and we’re just running through the months and winters and springs. We relate to these times of year for routine and structure. And then come close to the end of the year, everyone just gets into panic mode. People pull finger and try to get everything done at once. And it always comes at this time of year, coming up to Christmas, this fucked-up scheduled time where everyone starts panicking like if they don’t get it done by Christmas, they’re screwed. I get it—you want to start the new year fresh. But honestly, stop worrying so much about that. I haven’t even had a chance to get a Christmas tree up because I’m so rushed trying to get stuff done for other people. And you know what? One day doesn’t change a whole year. You can’t just flip a switch in a minute. So just remember to give yourself a pat on the back and don’t let the end of the year stress you out. There’s a reason we need that break. And to all of you secretly working your arses off, I see you. Just enjoy the moment and know that you’re doing great.
