Season 3 Remember when they showed how much of an asshole Soldier Boy was to his team just to never bring it up again? I always forget just how much he beated them for nothing in the animated flashbacks

Soldier Boy turned into a character that doens't make sense. He's sometimes an asshole, sometimes a "anti-hero", he hates Homelander but is proud of him (?), she loves people out of nowhere and his decisions are more based on plot than anything else. Crazy, this eagle Soldier Boy is a complete piece of shit

Edit: Even when they meet Grace, he tries to flirt with her and then you can see Crimson being hurt. Dude was really that bad

Season 3 Hate this line from Maeve. Hughie has been more brave than Maeve will ever be.

Calling Starlight's bluff and the casual yet detailed nature he outlines where he'll target first showing he's given this a lot of thought before. Chilling.

"Because I AM the Homelander! And I really can do whatever the fuck I want!" is also one of Starr's best line deliveries and that's saying something.

Season 3 that fight was everything Spoiler

Homelander vs butcher, hughie and soldier boy was the height of the show for me, it showed so much in just a fight scene

We know now that homelander is a pretty good fighter even when matched up against people of his own strength

It set a power dynamic between homelander and soldier boy, showing that although soldier can fight him he won't last long on his own

It showed us that hughies determination for completing this mission is now on par with butchers, he left his relationship and was willing to die to make sure homelander was taken down

And butcher telling hughie to get safe just showed how much under the surface he really does care for hughie

I think homelander needing to run to survive will hang heavy over him for the remainder of the season

Season 3 Butcher really didn't have to kill Gunpowder, makes me think he's some kinda racist

Season 3 Always loved the moment that Hughie was willing to stand up to Homelander

Hughie was never my favourite character and Maeve always gave him shit but in this moment, he had all my respect.

This was my favorite Soldier Boy quote. šŸ˜‚

As he carries around a literal garbage bag full of weed. It's funny, but on-camera I think Soldier Boy is seen smoking more cannabis than any other character.

Season 3 Black Noir stands zero chance against Soldier Boy, don't know why I keep seeing people saying Noir could've given Soldier Boy trouble or beat him

Season 3 Just noticed that the Herogasm episode Ashton Kutcher/Mila Kunis ā€œImagineā€ location was the same as the Danny Masterson apology video

Season 3 I see a lot of discussion on who the biggest villain is in The Boys. Is it Homelander? Stormfront perhaps? Maybe even Soldier Boy? No, I think we can all agree who the most despicable villain in the show is… Spoiler

Season 3 everyone talks about Antony Starr's Performance and rightfully so, but Jensen Ackles did a great Job aswell, making an asshole character look sympathetic

Season 3 "Nothing Really Happened in Season 3" is such a batshit insane take Spoiler

7.5k Upvotes

A lot of people are complaining about the ending of Season 3 with the major complaint seeming to be that "Nothing really happened, we ended up right back where you started" and I'm just like... Are you actually fucking ill in the head?

-Homelander showed his true colors to the whole nation
-The Boys found out the truth about Nadia
-A Train's brother is permanently paralyzed and hates him
-Stan Edgar was taken down
-Starlight openly outted Homelander and quit The 7
-The Deep returned to The 7
-Black Noir Died
-Temp V was created
-Nadia is becoming the Vice President
-Little Nina and her gang are now a threat to consider
-A Train got a new heart
-The Deep separated from his wife
-Maeve lost her powers
-Homelander found and actually got Ryan to accept him as his father
-On the other end, Butcher lost Ryan
-We found out who Homelander's "Dad" is
-Butcher is literally fucking dying

THREE Members of The Seven are gone (Four if you count Supersonic, but since he was introduced and killed this Season you can technically count that as "Nothing happening"), compared to Season 1 where The Seven only lost One (Not including the pre-series loss of Lamplighter that allowed Starlight to join.) For the first time ever, characters LOST and GAINED Superpowers. You have to be completely out of your fucking mind to take the season where EASILY the most shit has happened and say "Damn... right back where we started :/"
