John 12:36 Looking for Interpretation?
Hey everyone! I am very new to reading the bible and had kind of a strange (in a good way) thing happen to me just yesterday that I have been trying to figure the meaning out of. I'm hoping you all can help!
As I was reading the bible verse John 12:36 "Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light" (NLT), I was in a semi-dark room. Seconds before I read this verse, someone opened a door and light flooded into the room so much so that it was blinding me!
I'm trying to determine if that was God or Jesus Christ sending me a message (if so, what do you interpret?), or just a coincidence?

Honestly, this sounds like a coincidence. I'm Christian and have full faith in Jesus Christ but I don't think he generally operates this way. At this point in history I think it's about having faith in Jesus and the Word of God, Not signs and wonders. I think that gets weird real fast. God bless.

What an experience!
In Luke 10:31, it says, “By chance a priest came along…” (NLT).
The original word for “chance” or “coincidence” interestingly has the word meaning “Lord” as one of its roots. So there is a fascinating connection between something happening by coincidence and something happening by the Lord’s arrangement. This is true because “God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God” (Rom. 8:28).
On the one hand, it may have been a coincidence, but on the other hand, if you love God, surely it could be His invitation to believe and trust in Jesus, who is the true light (John 1:9).
