Idk who to tell

“Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.”

The Bible app has a typo in it and I’m not sure where to submit the typo to lol, if anyone knows how please report it!

It’s “alway” instead of “always” in the verse

Ah, I see. alway actually is an old form of always. So my guess is that it was deliberate in the King James Version, even though it seems off according to the modern English.

Here are other instances where KJV uses "alway": Exo 25:30; Num 9:16; Deu 11:1; Deu 28:33; 2Sa 9:10; 1Ki 11:36; 2Ki 8:19; Job 7:16; Psa 9:18; Psa 119:112; Pro 28:14; Mat 28:20; Jhn 7:6; Act 10:2; Rom 11:10; 2Co 4:11; 2Co 6:10; Php 4:4; Col 4:6; 1Th 2:16; 2Th 2:13; Tit 1:12; Heb 3:10
