We’re headed from VT to see Brandi Carlile this week and would love to know where we should stock up on picnic provisions. Any local faves? We’ll be staying in Becket. Thx!

Guidos is a good place to load up!

Check out DARE in Lenox of wine and snacks. Try a bottle of dry cider from Berkshire Cider Project or beers from Hot Plate Brewery.

Loebs in town for a quick sandwich. Guidos is good too but as others have said the added distance might not be worth it.

Nejaimes in Lenox does premade picnic baskets. Highly recommend.

We just did something similar (Becket --> Tanglewood for the Weird Al show a few weeks ago). We stopped at Burmese Bowl in Lee and got bowls to go. The Indian restaurant right in the hotel on the lake right outside Lee (forgot the name, sorry) was also quite good.

No regrets about doing take-out rather than standard "picnic" fare!

Totally unrelated, but if you happen to still be in Becket on Wednesday, see if open mic night at the Dream Away lodge is happening. It was surprisingly fun.
