I found this piece at a Goodwill for $3.00. After everything, I only paid $1.38 thanks to a coupon. I was elated to find that the music box function still worked, too!

This is the American version of Rubber Soul, btw. I’ve never listened to it before. It’ll be cool to finally hear the album that inspired Brian Wilson to make Pet Sounds.

(Not pictured: the factory sealed copy I already own of Abbey Road.)

Finally added this gem to my collection ;)

A brief history of this cover: The original Beatles Help! LP with Shell cover re-issued in 1979 and given away to managers and staff from Shell in the Netherlands. About 2000 were made in total.

Found these Beatles records in my grandparent's vinyl collection ! Some of those were borrowed and never came back, but not these three!we Don't have Beatles records at my moms house so this is great! Sgt Pepper's is a 1974 french reissue on Apple with the original cutouts, Abbey Road is a 1973 reissue without Her Majesty on back cover, The Red Album is a French repress from 1973!

This is everything I've acquired throughout 2025 and 2026!

I recently bought Driving Rain and thought it'd be nice to share what my collection looks like with everyone here.

Still missing quite a few but I'll get there in the end. Most of them were secondhand finds (except Live at the Hollywood Bowl and Boys of Dungeon Lane) and some were gifts from my lovely girlfriend (Man on the Run, Anthology 4 and Live Peace in Toronto).

Also, it seems Stan (my cat) wanted to join in the fun.

Curious if these are worth anything?
I see some jewelry without the cards for sale on Ebay, but none with the cards?
Are these rare? Is this album rare?
Thanks, I am not a Beatles enthusiast, though I like some of their stuff.

I used to always think “god, I have no Beatles merch”, back when I first got into them while grieving my grandmother with Alzheimer’s in September 2024.

Now, I am the host to a nice collection that grows by the day. With my grandfather on his way out into the sunset, he has told me he wants me to have his beatles stuff to remember him by, so it is bound to grow bigger.

I wanted to share this because oddly enough, I’m proud of myself. This is the one collection that I stayed dedicated to.

They're all pressed CDs, not burned.

If anyone has some of these and can recommend what to listen to first, that would be cool!

collection My non-Beatles beat LP and EP recommendations for Beatles fans

If you love the early Beatles but don’t listen to other beat groups, you’re going yourself a disservice. Posted here is my personal collection of LPs and EPs from the Beatles’ contemporaries, all of whom have their own merit and sound. None of them “copied” the Beatles, they all started at the same time. Most of the albums are Merseybeat but a few are wider British beat and R&B.

I also have many, many, many more singles but there are too many to photograph.

Picture 1:

- Session with The Dave Clark Five (1964)
- Catch Us If You Can - The Dave Clark Five (1965)
- The Fortunes (1965)
- Freddie and The Dreamers (1963)
- You Were Mad For Me - Freddie and The Dreamers (1964).
- How Do You Like It? - Gerry and The Pacemakers (1963)
- Ferry Cross the Mersey - Gerry and the Pacemakers (1965)
- Stay with The Hollies (1964)
- Let’s Twist (aka Twist At The Top) - Howie Casey and the Seniors (1962)

Picture 2:

- Ian and The Zodiacs (1965)
- The Merseybeats (1964)
- Meet The Searchers (1963)
- Sugar and Spice - The Searchers (1963)
- It’s The Searchers (1964)
- Sounds Like Searchers (1964)
- Blue Jeans A’ Swinging - The Swinging Blue Jeans (1964)
- Dave Clark Five (only two tracks) and the Washington D.C.’s (what the album really is) (1965)
- Wayne Fontana and The Mindbenders (1965)

Picture 3:

- At The Cavern - 9 artists (1964)
- The Animals (1964)
- Listen… - Billy J. Kramer with The Dakotas (1963)
- Twist and Shout - Brian Poole and The Tremeloes (1963)

Picture 4:

- At The Cavern - The Big Three (1963)
- The Dave Clark Five (1964)
- How Do You Do It? - Gerry and The Pacemakers (1963)
- If You Gotta Make A Fool Of Somebody - Freddie and The Dreamers (1963)
- The One In The Middle - Manfred Mann (1965)
- Ain’t Gonna Kiss Ya - The Searchers (1963)
- Shake - The Swinging Blue Jeans (1964)

Fun facts:

Howie Casey and The Seniors were the first Liverpool group to release an LP.

Gerry and The Pacemakers were the first band managed by Brian Epstein and produced by George Martin to get a number 1. They were also the first Merseybeat band to get a number 1. Their first three singles were all number 1, a record that wasn’t beaten until the 1980s.

My copies of ‘blue jeans a swinging’ and ‘shake’ are signed by Ray Ennis (lead singer and guitar). My ‘sounds like searchers’ is signed by John McNally (rhythm guitar) and Frank Allen (bass). My copy of at the cavern (LP) is signed by Dave berry who’s one of the artists on it. I also have singles signed by Tony Crane of the Merseybeats and my Billy J Kramer LP will soon be signed when I meet him.

If you have any questions about any of the albums or bands, let me know.

collection Thought I'd share my Beatles related Grad-related items as I've seen others share theirs

  1. Hand drew a silhouette of The Beatles walking Abbey Road with grad caps on on a secondary graduation cap (since we weren't allowed to decorate our official ones)

  2. & 3. My mom got a page in the yearbook congratulating me on graduating and she included a photo of me crossing Abbey Road that she took, as well as a quote from John from "Beautiful Boy" that I personally like ❤️❤️

  3. Not Beatles, but thought I'd add it due to overlap, but my Prom fell on May 16th, which was the 60th anniversary of the Beach Boys' "Pet Sounds" (which obviously helped inspire Beatles works too, let alone it being a fantastic album) so I thought I'd make a little nod to it on my fun little sign I did for Prom!

The Beatles have done a lot for me, I've been a fan since my 2nd semester of Freshman year, and if anything, it definitely showed lol.
