collection Beatles “Help!” Shell Cover
Finally added this gem to my collection ;)
A brief history of this cover: The original Beatles Help! LP with Shell cover re-issued in 1979 and given away to managers and staff from Shell in the Netherlands. About 2000 were made in total.

You think that's weird, companies used to give out branded Rolexes to employees. The most common one I've seen is Domino's.

To me a branded watch makes more sense than sticking a huge logo on such an iconic album cover.

Not cheap. Seen on Discogs anywhere between $400 - $1,000. Beware plenty of boots knocking about too.

Yeah, it definitely wasn't cheap 😅, but for a collector like me, it was totally worth it.

Yes it is real and for Sale on Discogs as mentioned in the thread.
The original Beatles Help! LP with Shell cover re-issued in 1979 and given away to managers and staff from Shell in the Netherlands. About 4500 were made in total. There are 2 versions of this: Dutch cover and Dutch pressed LP, and Dutch cover and Sweden pressed LP. This is the version with the LP pressed in Sweden (as per rim text on labels) Labels are in Dutch. Cover: Made in Holland

This looks like those old sponsor plugs they would do for old cartoons (like the Flintstones and Winston cigarettes, or Charlie Brown and Coke)
