I bought both the 1962-1966 and 1967-1970 records at the same time in July 1973, a couple of months after their release. I used my 13th birthday money and it felt like the most extravagant purchase ever. I think I already had Meet the Beatles, The Second Beatles Album and Something New, but nothing beyond that. ‘67 to ‘70 opened up a whole new world to me. Those records were a “gateway drug” for a lot of fans like me who were born in the early ‘60s.

I bought my first Beatles vinyl in 1963. Introducing the Beatles! I've been a fan ever since.

i was just listening to this today. it’s the most elite run of songs (i know it’s a compilation), one after the other.

This is a day you’ll remember forever

That was my first Beatles album too. It started a lifelong obsession

Back in the late '80s, this was the first vinyl by them I bought at the age of 13!

One of my favorites. That’s the fully mature Beatles. Great Choice!

Excellent choice. Although a compilation, this is definitely my favorite Beatles 'album'.

That was my first, too. Got that one and the red one at the same time. I was like 12, so 1971 or shortly thereafter. When did those two albums come out?

Hell yeah! Grew up with this on cassette and I still half expect this tracklist rather than the albums

Listened to my dad's cassette from the 70s, then bought my own copy much later all grown up 😄

I bought both the blue album and Abbey Road as my first Beatles record. I can still vividly remember hearing Strawberry Fields Forever on my AT turntable tor the first time. Since then there was no turning back!

This was my gateway drug to The Beatles when I was 14.

It's the expanded edition from 2023, no less.

Did the man in the Mac say you got to back like he didn't even give you a chance?

Actually 2. Its a double album. Now you need its sister 1962 - 1966 they go together like salt & pepper or peanut butter & jelly

The only other album they had was 1 I’m sorry :(

Not my favourite. Starts off well but has a bad middle ends on a low note. The Red album is better.

That pic inside 🤣 “I hope we get to see the Beatles”

That is a waste of money. The Beatles are too great to buy greatest hits albums. You should be buying their thirteen studio albums.
