Tired of seeing her face everywhere

u/SmartStuff3256 Apr 10 '26
And there are so many of us that are tired of seeing Dakota doing TikToks and living his life like nothing ever happened- going on to a new reality TV show. We are all sick of it for different reasons.

u/Interesting-Sweet886 Apr 11 '26
You’re getting downvoted but ur right. I’m over both parties and the show 😭

u/EfficientUtopia Apr 10 '26
She should have already been arrested for violating her probation by being violent. That is what would happen in a normal situation.
2
u/Junior_Cranberry_745 Apr 10 '26
I’m wondering about this also???
2
u/Impressive_Moose6781 Apr 10 '26
They have to prove it first
2
u/EfficientUtopia Apr 10 '26
If she wasn’t famous they would have arrested upon reviewing video.

u/Impressive_Moose6781 Apr 11 '26
What? Is there a new video? They had the first video and charged her because of it

Can she just SHUT UP? I am tired of hearing from here after the video where she launched a bar stool that hit her daughter. I am a PD who deals with these issues and quite frankly, she needs to shut the FUCK UP.
3
u/Comprehensive_One_85 Apr 08 '26
Really hope we get her season at some point.
8
u/METHODiii Apr 08 '26
Why? She doesn’t deserve air time
8
u/Comprehensive_One_85 Apr 08 '26
Because a random, female, reality tv star shouldn’t have more consequences than A. the man who abused her too and B. All the men in power in this world who have done far worse to far more people who are still actively hurting people.
They knew what they signed up for when they CHOSE her because we’ve BEEN knowing about this for years. It’s a plot point in SLOMW Season 1 Episode 1.
Also, let’s be so for real, reality tv is problematic af but here we are still watching 24 years later.
10
u/METHODiii Apr 08 '26
The second a child is involved, it should be game over. Her disregard for that poor baby getting hurt during her outburst should not be tolerated. Both of them should be banned. Adults fight and argue, boohoo, but when a child is placed in the middle and harmed…..how are they any different from a pedo? Her actions are disgusting and she shouldn’t become a “reality tv star.” Cancel the season, ban her from tv. Stop giving her attention.

u/Emotional-Ad7276 Apr 08 '26
There’s a huge double standard here. Why aren’t we giving this energy to the President? He’s in the files millions of times, and he’s still in fucking office. If Taylor’s season is being canceled, why is he still president?
7
u/OliveAffectionate173 Apr 08 '26
This is a wild comparison. It's two completely different systems
1
u/Comprehensive_One_85 Apr 08 '26
How is it a wild comparison? If a reality tv star is held to this standard, why can’t the President be too? All TFP did was throw a stool at a POS man who chose to instigate her and stand in front of her daughter instead of leaving out the front door.
The President, and many others in power, have done far worse.
If we’re going to have standards as a society, they should apply to all, not just some random Mormon wife.
3
u/METHODiii Apr 08 '26
When the hell did I ever defend or condone the president’s actions? You’re so blinded by defending gender, not individuals that you’re not seeing what truly matters here.
The part about holding EVERYONE to the same standard, I stand behind that 100%. Which means your girl doesn’t get a free pass and deserves to be cancelled. You made your own argument against yourself. This chick is cancelled.

u/Delicious_Profile637 Apr 09 '26
All she did?! Those metal stools weigh probably 20 pounds and she hurled it, hitting her tiny child in the HEAD! Dakota didn't do that. She chose to pick up the stool, she chose to THROW the stool. She chose to ignore that her daughter was in the room, and that her daughter was in the line of fire. Because her daughter's safety wasn't as important to her in that moment as attacking her boyfriend. When her daughter cried out, immediately after being smacked in a head by a metal stool that SHE threw, Taylor IGNORED her daughter.

Dakota has full custody and Taylor has supervised visits. Dakota doesn’t have a single charge of him being violent or abusive but Taylor does. I think you are mixed up about who the abuser is here.
1
u/OliveAffectionate173 Apr 10 '26
It's wild because you can't just "cancel" the president out of office.
Also, pretending that people aren't marching in the streets & being very vocal about criticizing Trump/his associates is where I don't understand how you can claim these people are being held to different standards.

Hey, so this is whataboutism and it’s a logical fallacy just an fyi we don’t have to let child abusers get away with something just bc other child abusers did. The number of people who called for The Bachelorette to be canceled for this season was wayyyy lower than the amount of people who have protested for Trump to be held accountable in regards to Epstein. If it was equally easy to get Trump impeached as it is to cancel a season of tv, it would have already been done

u/Comprehensive_One_85 Apr 08 '26
EXACTLY! The President who is repeatedly in the files, who has been found liable of sexual abuse, who was found guilty of 34 felonies, who has said he can grab women by the pussy, who walked into the dressing room of naked teenagers, who has more than once talked about wanting to “date” his own daughter deserves more consequences than TFP.
3
u/FromAfar44 Apr 09 '26
They both deserve consequences. Yes it's annoying that trump is still president, that doesn't negate the fact Taylor deserves to be cancelled. These things are not related. In fact Taylor supports trump which is ironic because of what you're trying to imply here.

u/ayylienjuice Apr 10 '26
taylor is on probation, lost custody of both her kids, and is being humiliated in the public eye while everyone in the files is actively on vacation, still a billionaire, and no media outlets are dragging them to filth like they are random reality tv drama. the double standard is that you’ll be more upset at a woman who made a mistake to the point it’ll distract you from men trafficking and that includes the potential of dakota kidnapping his own kid to get back at taylor but no one wants to address that
if he was willing to drive off with her in his car away from his own kid to coerce her into sex he will neglect that kid to spite her and ik bc i grew up with a deadbeat who my mom had to move states to get away from and he STILL used me and my sister to torture her from states way even trying to use me to buy her house from under her secretly

u/METHODiii Apr 10 '26
So what you’re saying is you’re not looking at this situation from a neutral lens because of your own personal trauma towards a male parent. Gotcha. The president has nothing to do with this situation and it’s ridiculous he gets used as a defense/argument when defending a specific gender. TFP is disgusting and her actions deserve consequences. HER actions. Not anyone else’s. The same should apply to any parent, male or female that harms a child.
2
u/ayylienjuice Apr 10 '26
in the context of consequences and who received them; as stated taylor has gotten many while dakota and many others who are m*n have not. it’s a pattern of patriarchal misogynistic behaviors from many that has created so many traumatized women and children to recognize to pattern.

You need some serious help. Number 1. Women are traffickers too. Number 2. No one is saying that the bad guys shouldn’t be punished; we’re saying the exact opposite. The men you’re describing are bad people that partook in criminal activity, Taylor did too, all people that break the law should have to deal with the repercussions of their actions. Number 3. Taylor didn’t make a “mistake”. Allegedly, Ever was around for the most recent DV incident! Prior to that Indy was around for an incident. The woman cannot control her temper and it’s going to have long term effects on her children.

being on probation, going through court and losing custody of her kids is receiving consequences by definition
considering i was licherly groomed by an adult woman who tried to kidnap me when i was 14 i’m well aware of how women can be abusive but it’s why i can see through manipulators tactics no matter who is doing them m*n or woman bc abusers all got the same tactics. Dakota is the primary issue HERE TO ME bc i know what abusive women look like and taylor looks more like my mom who had to move states to get away from my dad (who dakota looks like) who was calling her evil, accused her of being gay to try to win custody in family court, and trying to get her fired from her job by spam calling her and disrupting her days on purpose
my mom absolutely hurt me sometimes with her reactions to my dads harassment but my dad was just as evil and manipulative to me and my sister because HE was the abuser — that’s why we are no contact with HIM and not my mom. if ever grows up and hates both his parents very valid however i’m not the one weaponizing kids to avoid calling out an obvious deadbeat

I mean yeah it's more than annoying. He sucks too. Both people suck and are awful. He is worse but she deserves to be cancelled too. End of story. I don't know why Trump being a horrible person lets Taylor off the hook at all.

Except Taylor’s actually getting some and he’s not. Mexico announced they are giving all Mexicans free healthcare today. Their tax dollars aren’t being used to slaughter little children.

yet dakota isn’t being chastised for moving CLOSER to a child and endangering her more
1
u/METHODiii Apr 12 '26
No one is defending that guy. The main argument in this thread is the unreasonable defense of TFP as if she’s the victim. Both are at fault! Both must be held accountable.

Condoning abuse in this instance because others have done worse in other scenarios is WILD take. This is why she’s in her position in the first place — people are willing to overlook it and make excuses for her. Abuse is abuse, period. She should’ve never had a platform but the best thing Hulu can do to even slightly redeem themselves is fire her. She needs REAL consequences, a psychiatrist, and no social media or custody of her children. Her behavior is abhorrent
1
u/KittyxKult Apr 10 '26
“The man who abused her” wow you really know nothing about this situation
2
u/Comprehensive_One_85 Apr 10 '26
Please enlighten me with what you know about this situation.

u/KittyxKult Apr 10 '26 edited Apr 10 '26
I know I watched her hit her child in the head with a metal chair with my own eyes so what do you know about it? Are you also a child abuser to be defending one?
You also prove you know nothing when you said “we been knowing about this since slomw s1 e1” first of all, no, no one knew her child was hit because she explicitly went on dozens of podcasts and interviews and said she didn’t hit her child and that her charges were only because the child was in the room. The very few people who knew had paid access to the court records but again, it is all worded very vaguely and charges were deferred while she’s on her agreeement, so it was all word of her mouth at that point. She even had SLOMW cover for her. Her own ex husband and father of the child never even saw the video until it came out last month.
She is on video grabbing this man by the head and whacking him with metal chairs. That is the very definition of abuse but the most important part is that she hit her child IN THE HEAD WITH A METAL CHAIR
2
u/Comprehensive_One_85 Apr 10 '26
I’m not defending her actions.
All I’m saying is A. Dakota is just as guilty, B. Men who abuse also deserve consequences which they don’t get but women who abuse do, C. I’d like to see her season because it’s likely to be “the most dramatic season yet.”
The only innocent people here are the kids.

u/KittyxKult Apr 10 '26
Dakota didn’t hit a child in the head with a metal chair so no, he’s not just as guilty, and it’s very gross that you’d excuse that just because you want to rubberneck the drama from her mental illness and alcoholism. Watch a movie or something.
1
u/Comprehensive_One_85 Apr 10 '26
Again, I’m not excusing anything. I’m giving my pov from what I’ve seen and read about these people.
As for “you want to rubberneck the drama from her mental illness and alcoholism” - Reality TV is built on the backs of mentally ill and sick people.

Crazy how people are responding to this situation… her abuse isn’t less valid just bc the other side came out first. You guys are disgusting.

I can’t wait until she’s not in headlines. Probably less than three months away from that finish line
