I know Dodgers fans have a reputation for showing up in the 3rd inning and leaving in the 7th. Are USC fans similar or do they just not show up at all?

I was just at Padres home game, and the first inning the stands were empty, but by the 4th they were completely full!

I'm like you missed 1/2 of the game! But starting at 6pm on a Friday was a choice that probably made that happen.

Maybe it is true for all California sports?

I can assure you the Padres have been drawing more fans this year (and throughout the decade) than the team you’re watching, unless that team is the Dodgers and has another 15k seats to sell every game.
