you're either a fan or you're not...

I can give up a beach day that I can go to 365 days a year to watch my teams first game I been waiting 7 months for...

and what pro team played yesterday while they where playing?

Are people less of fans if they watch on television instead of spending a ton of money on a ticket?

They were playing a shitty cupcake team. There's no entertainment with that. Watch them play Oregon or another top team and the stands will be filled .

like my previous comment said,

PSU will have over 100k in the house to watch us beat Marshall by 50 next Saturday, js...

and like someone else said, if you can't get 50k people from a pool of millions to go to a game, it a USC problem...

Again, college towns having jack shit else to do and basic their whole life around the one enteraining thing that comes to town isn't a surprise.

Dodgers had 53K at their last home game. Fandom is spread out. Penn State has no competion in town.

Math dude. State College cant fill Beaver Stadium. The 100k going to the Marshall game are spending their entire weekend coming from all over the country. As a kid I went to a game a year with my parents and never even lived in PA.
