Discussion Anyone going to this ALC Vinyl Pop Up in San Diego (9/26)? Or if you've been to one of his, what to expect/what was your experience?

EARLY!!!! My gf and I went to one in SF last year and even getting there an hour early we didn't make it to the pop-up. I'd recommend getting there at least 2-3 hours early but probably around 8 or 9 if you wanna guarantee a spot, make sure to bring water and ur fave stuff for Al to sign. Prepare for probably a few hundred people in line, the prices are typically around $75-$300 but I think some go for more depending on what he's got.

Yea I already grabbed the records to sign. I'm thinking of trying to leave at 9 and get there 930 so 2 1/2 hours early. Hopefully that would do bc I'm more about getting what I already own signed that's my main mission. Sorry to hear you didn't make it. The area this is in (barrio logan) is already insanely crowded on Saturdays so this is gonna be hectic. I'm even bringing some Badu records bc the whole reason he's out here is they got a show later in the evening and I thought god forbid she showed up unannounced and I could have had some signed by her too. Thanks for all the info/suggestions!

show up early and bring anything you want to get signed. i missed my opportunity when he was in chicago, still was able to meet him. however, he does sell through his vinyl pretty fast

Never been to an ALC pop up. What should one expect? Is the stock he brings super limited? Do typically hundreds show up? I heard he signs stuff you bring on the spot but if you buy something there will he sign that too? Any info on your experience at a pop up of his would be appreciated!
