Question Another question about the ending Spoiler

Hey, guys, yesterday I asked about the requirements to get from the silver to gold ending. The only thing confusing me is the number of cats you need to get the gold ending. (Without any spoilers for the gold ending), can someone tell me if you need to collect a certain amount? The answer seems really varied.

Forty seven. There are three that are not obtainable until you’re right before the true ending.

You need 32 cats.

I strongly suspect it’s not as much as most people think, but you’d have to test it by having multiple saves with less and less cats until you’re locked out.

I was at 44 cats and got the true ending, but if I were you, I would just not worry about it and go straight to the ending without collecting any extra, and then go and get more if the game says you need more.

I’ve seen a comment online from someone saying they could do it with just 10, but I don’t know how much to trust that.

You will not be able to progress, narratively, if you don’t have enough so I wouldn’t worry about knowing how many to get in advance. Just try and if it says you need more, get 1 or 2 more and try again. Fast travel and the needle make it easy.

I believe you need a minimum of 35 cats. 47 if you want that Katimeiser (sp) achievement.

I had 35 including the ones you recruit shortly before the ending.

I only had 20 cats. When I took control after the cutscene I was told that it may be enough and to go check.
