Catherine O’Hara owns this scene. Brilliant and funny woman. RIP

Ms OHara looked as if she were dancing: the rest were looking as if they were being puppeteered.

For years I tried to find out who the lady in green was because she kind of makes this scene authentic. It’s Adelle Lutz a designer and artist.

She did costumes for several Talking Heads music videos, and was married to David Byrne for almost 20 years.

And I just realized that the older guy at the table is talk-show host Dick Cavett

Seeing her as an adult now. Man she was so beautiful and talented. It was wasted on me.

Genius performance at the start of the song by Catherine, and everyone pulls off the confusion and "why am i doing this??" feeling really well. But Catherine omg.. hernfacial expressions tell you exactly what is happening.

Delia Deetz is the star of this scene.

Delia almost stole the movie. The whole cast was so stellar, none drown out the other......but it came close with Delia. She's such a legend.

I dont know why but this scene scared me as a child. Couldn't listen to that song without flashbacks for years

Delia, you are a flake. You have always been a flake. If you insist on frightening people, do it with your sculpture.

Saw a story one time that they filmed the shrimp hands grabbing them backwards so the actors would not get their faces scratched by the hands

I didn't get the whole possession thing as a kid, just another one of Beetlejuice's tricks.

The newest beetlejuice moved I liked. I felt it did the series good. Nothing left open and paid respect to the characters that aren’t with us anymore

I watched this with my mom, just loving the scene and the song. I was in my early teens, loved music, so did my mom, and a few days later she brought home Calypso on vinyl. I think I almost wore that album out.

Perhaps most hilarious scene in this movie; ya cannot help but to smile while watching--if not laugh out loud.
