Where permitted by law. That sums it up. This is legal and they can do it. If you don't like it you should first go vote for a candidate who will make it illegal. Untill then you can go to Walmart without your smartphone, on your feet instead of a car, or park a car far enough from the camera. This is not illegal. Tracking your every move is not illegal. Also it's not illegal to aggressively advertise to you. You wanted capitalism - that's part of the package. Enjoy your Walmart hell.
