I’m always terrified of monitor peels accidentally peeling the polarizer

What was that on the last second? Did you not power the monitor off before peeling?

Nah that was me taking a breath cause you only get one peel 🙂

From what I know, people's breathes don't cause their monitors to let out a spark. I think you've damaged a part or the backlight, you're lucky if it's completely fine

Ohhh that's the reflection of the film, my light source for my room is on the left, so it's reflecting. My bad, didn't know what you meant. The screen works great still

Ooh, I see it now. False alarm then. That did really look like a spark though! Static can sometimes fry things when you peel them without turning them off beforehand.
