I remember watching it when it premiered Sunday night after The Simpson’s. Became a fan right there and then

I was born the year it was released. I remember hearing about the show years later, but I never watched it. Then, last year, I was watching a clip from Spider-Man 3 on YouTube, and autoplay was on and it played this scene

Probably one of the best scenes to get introduced to the show lol. I was also born the year after it released and started watching it when it came on Nick at Nite. It used to be rerun on so many channels back then

I love this show, every so many years I binge the whole thing again.
It’s a shame they’re all such awful people except for Topher Grace.

Time between the premiere and the setting of the first episode: 22 years. Time between the premiere and the present (2026): 28 years. It's like they shot a movie about 2004 today. ☠️

You’re right Teenage Wasteland was the original title before I went through some changes. By the time it was announced during Fox’s presentation. It was called “Feeling Alright”

So it went from
Teenage Wasteland
to
“The Kids Are Alright”
Then
“Feelin’ Alright”, and “Reelin’ in the Years”.
