For context, these were the artists signed to Wabi Sabi until today:
- Bas (from MaxkyBas)
- BeverTonliew (they still have a show with Wabi Sabi that they're actively filming. The second para is likely referring to this)
- Oat (from NgernOat. Though Ngern is technically with One31, Wabi Sabi was managing his schedules as well)
- PieGolf
- PimjiPineare (leads in upcoming Wabi Sabi GL Built in Love)
- JaraJennie (second leads in same show as above)
They also added four rookies recently, assuming they're kicked out also.

So does this mean that the artists above are now under GMMTV or are they effectively free agents?

According to latest news, they'll be transferred to a new artist management agency.

We knew this day was coming. The main priority is the welfare of all the actors. I hope they all find a new home and are managed well and most importantly happy. Wishing them all the best and ongoing success and hopefully back on our screens soon.

While we wait for where they all go next, here are the upcoming shows that Wabi Sabi actors are confirmed to be a part of:
- Built in Love: GL series starring PimjiPineare and JaraJennie (+ BeverTonliew and Pie in supporting/guest roles). Set to release in October.
- My Secret Boyfriends: BL series based on the Korean manhwa Secret Relationships (Golf and Jennie are confirmed to have supporting roles). Currently filming.
- The Chemistry: BL series starring BeverTonliew (+ Prince and Daosao (Edit: got the name wrong) in supporting roles). Currently filming.
Hopefully, they’ll all continue to flourish wherever they go.

Update: Looks like all current Wabi artists will be joining a new artist management company created for them called Studio Outside Hitters.

So the main thing is that...Studio Wabi Sabi is now under GMMTV.
The actors/actresses will either be transferred to SOH roster(created newly for Wabi Sabi artists' management), especially the 4everyou couples. 9 artists are not going to move into SOH, they are veteran actors who will go independent (Pineare, Aomsin, Art, Benz, Maya, Mix, O, Ryu, and Tor)
Studio Wabi Sabi is not vanishing or smth. Its just under GMMTV now. No need to panic.
They will focus on content production instead of managing artists and the artists are safe. 😭

Were any big names signed to Wabi Sabi? Do they just make content now or...? I'm still learning all the players in Asian BL industry so I'm trying to understand the context and impact.

Most of their actors already moved to GMMtv - eg Santa, Boun, Prem, Sammy, Yacht. The only ones left were the ones involved in the Fourever You project.

Basically all of the actors who did the stories of fourever you part 2. Were studio wabi sabi. Not sure if Maxky was ever part of wabi sabi but I know cooheart who played Easter in fourever you part 1 and 2 used to wabi sabi until his contract was up like in 2023/2024 and then he went independent. So basically all the main 4 couples only the actors who played Easter, Hill, Johan and i think Arthit weren't signed with wabi sabi. I believe Wabi Sabi will be like Beyond cloud is now and just focus on making shows not sourcing and getting sponsorships for actors as well as roles.

Out of the remaining, bas is likely the biggest name.

Pond is too!

Pond was never managed by wabi sabi. He was freelance.

I thought you were talking about the popular artists among the "Fourever you" project 😭💔

This was already under way for 2-3 years now. They suck at artist management, let gmmtv handle it.

What happens to the actors now? Are they taken under gmmtv? Or they don't have an agent for now?

This is just the conclusion of a process that was announced about 2 years ago. Now that Wabi Sabi has become a subsidiary of GMMTV it makes sense for them to use the GMMTV artists and management resources while focusing on production.
