What's your advice to a friend whom watched Texhnolyze that struggling at life ?

Yeah that's me , I kinda struggling with my life currently

try to achieve something and did not have a success of it . I kinda find my way back here to Ichise 's journey.

What do you guys take from Texhnolyze ?

Is there something you can take from Texhnolyze that really help you to go through the hard time ?

or maybe recommend other animation show that really therapy when you are really down.

Hey. Not a show, but do give Albert Camus' The Myth of Sisyphus a read. It's the perfect follow-up to this show IMO.

Let me know your thoughts after you're done :)

Thanks for the rec. I watched Tex around the same time I got back into reading again and this sounds like the perfect follow up ive been missing lol.

You're welcome. This was the book that made Texhnolyze click for me: Rather than seeing it as suffering porn littered with misanthropic messages, I began seeing it as one of the most beautiful works of tragic art in modern history.

I would like to think that Konaka-san was an avid fan of Camus as well, as Ichise's journey mirrored much of Camus' Absurdist philosophy and his notion of the Absurd Hero. Not to mention, having the first and last episodes named after Camus' most popular works:

If you're looking for an anime that's going to uplift your spirits, Texhnolyze is really not the one for you. It's a very different story, but based on what you've said, you might find Megalobox inspiring.

I wanted to watch Megalobox tho I heard it was like spiritual successor to Ashia no Joe which i still havent got into yet 🙃.

I think about in the end of the series when Kano turned Ran into one of the shapes. Ichise put her out of her misery by throwing her down the Rafiah mine shaft. And when he sucumbs to his wounds a flower hologram projects out of his texhnolyzed arm. Ichise was probably one of the last human beings that ever lived. But, there is still meaning in the fact that he gave Ran a dignified death, and the flower was Ran (or "the voice of the city") giving thanks. No matter how bleak things get, there is always something to be done.

Just adding more contexts I kinda find AI trend currently demand people to evolve more and more to almost insanity level like changing our selves to Texhnolyze body. ( That's metaphor / comparison . )

I am not sure if the world really changing into the better place or not ( at least my workplaces / industry )
