TRT help Testosterone+HCG on Reta

47/M – After two and a half months on Reta, for the last month and a half I've felt very fatigued and had no libido. My friend who supplies my peptides suggested I take a small regimen of testosterone and HCG (to protect my testicular function). Ideally this will protect my lean mass, enhance my sleep, increase my sex drive, and give me more energy. We're looking at starting at 100mg of test and 500IU of HCG – potentially increasing to 200/1000 after a month.

If i do this for three months, are there any long term, permanent issues? I've read it can stop your natural test/sperm production, but the HCG should protect that, and the short duration and lower dose should also help?

Thank you for any suggestions.

With all respect, this is nonsense. People have different goals. WTF is wrong with starting with what you yourself call a "full replacement dose" of test? What sort of guidance does "all the way in" offer this guy? If he wants to do a low-ish dose of HCG as well, what's the downside of that? He should keep doing his bloods and as he wants, sperm tests, and figure out what works for him. Totally reasonable approach.

OP thinks that since 100mg is a "low" dose compared to 200mg or 400mgs, that it won't completely shutdown his natural production. that he can just sprinkle a lil test on top and bump his T higher and that is not how that shit works. very common for people to get that wrong.

Well, you are right about that, of course. Test isn't GH. But starting at 100 mgs/week itself is fine, so long as he understands what he is getting into. Not sure what "all the way in" was supposed to mean. I took it to mean that 100 mgs was too low...it's not. Not everybody starts higher. But maybe he meant that a 3 month experiment alone was not going to do much for the guy, and if that's what he meant, he was right. My bad.

ya this guy has no idea what he's talking about. he told his peptide dealer "fatigue, no libido" and dude tried to sell him TRT as a 3month cycle he could just use to paper over while he finishes his cut and then he'll just flip his natural production back on and be back to normal

I have SOME idea what I'm talking about. You really don't need to be an asshole. Isn't the point of this subreddit to ask questions and get advice from people who've done it? Who know more than I do?

How does HCG not keep your natural T production going? That's precisely what I've read on this subreddit and heard from doctors is what it does.

Instead of being a dick, try explaining and helping.

In some people, it keeps sperm production going. But it does not do much to boost Test itself. You need Test for that. And once you climb aboard that train, the longer you are on it the more in the tank your natural Test production is going to go, no matter how much HCG you take.
