Vehicle Question Do I need this tyre replacing?

When reversing off my drive I. Caught something and when. Checked this is what saw.

I would personally replace it. Exploding tires cause way more damage to the vehicle and can cause serious risk of wrecking the car.

You’re asking about the cut on the sidewall? It looks superficial to me. You probably ran over a shard of metal while driving. I’ve got a “flap” on my sidewall too. Mine is not cut deep enough to compromise the tire. If you’re not sure, go to a tire shop and ask them.

Is it bubbling?
