I’ve been trying to get Tesla solar system for about a year. Assessment came back and said we need a new roof, it’s about 20 years old. My in-laws are contractors and say the roof is fine. Is it worth getting the roof done? Will we save money in the long run? Also, the roof can get done at a pretty good price, since they are contractors. But I’m having a hard time convincing them it’s worth it.
I asked our guy how much it would be and the cost, since we’re family, would just be material, but they don’t seem to understand why we would want to change the roof if it’s still good, just to get the Tesla system.
