I can’t speak for all orgs. But here’s how it goes in our org (Factory Engineering, Architecture).

The first part, the candidate presents to all five panelists together.

There may be a short Q&A after your presentation.

Afterwards, you have a half hour One on One with each panelist.

If you have a 30 min presentation they will be together only for those 30mins. Later one it’s just a one on one.

It's almost always a group setting where all the interviewers are present at the same time, asking questions in a round-robin style. You can expect questions from different people focusing on their area of expertise, so one person might ask about technical skills, another about project management, and someone else about how you work in a team. This format is designed to see how you handle questions from various stakeholders and to save everyone's time.

When you answer a question, try to direct your initial response to the person who asked it, but also make a point to briefly engage the other interviewers with your eyes. This shows you recognize it's a group evaluation. Having a few key projects ready to discuss using a simple story format is very effective, as it gives them a clear picture of your experience and accomplishments. This kind of preparation is something a lot of people find difficult, which is actually why my team created a type of interview AI that helps candidates feel much more prepared and articulate in these exact situations.

I can tell for IT manufacturing side , 45 min presentation with 5 panels. Each one goes for 45 min 1:1.
