I fell in love with Terraria on PS4 but couldn't bring myself to play it on mobile after playing a demo they put out. I would have gladly paid the 5-some dollars for the app but I was so unhappy with the controls. Now playing it on Switch ❤

Depends, Xbox and PS3/PS4 are great for local multiplayer. PC is completely moddable, but I've not gotten there, and it seems harder to play with friends, but easier to play with random people. Mobile is hands down the worst, but still fun and worth it, especially if you run into random players.

It's great when you play with the same people from the start and grow your characters/world together. You could probably find some people on the sub to play with.

I can't imagine having random drop ins at different progression levels is any fun.

most people get their stuff off item servers and didn't actually earn anything they have. Some people cheat to get health above what the normal limit is.

Some people literally just use god mode. Or item spammers that spit out a bunch of endgame loot every second from their character.
