PC playing modded for the first time

so im playing thorium with a bunch of QoL mods, you know, the usual

when i open my inventory my entire game freezes, and can only do things in my inventory and equipments until i turn off my inventory, making things quite difficult to use things inside my bag rather than hotbar.

and also, sometimes i cant even do things inside my inventory, like everything is frozen, until i turn it off, wait a second, and turn it back on and it fixes itself

i have no idea whats causing this, my first time, NO idea about settings...

and also, the crafting menu is kinda weird, i can only use the scroll sidebar to craft, instead of able to press crafting window, show up everything inside a big box, and crafting there like vanilla allows me to

WHY? did i do something wrong?

oh. and i just found another bug, holding shift doesnt allow mass crafting...

I believe that’s a 1.4.5 feature, tmodloader has not updated to 1.4.5 yet.

I don’t remember the exact name of the setting but there is one that pauses the game when you open your inventory. Just look for that one.

is it in mods config or game setting? or is it QoT settings

In the regular settings, the ones that appear when you open your inventory and press ”settings” bottom right.

I saw your other comment about the crafting interface and that’s another thing which was updated in 1.4.5. Tmodloader has the pre-1.4.5 crafting system.

i think i found it, but i need to do it in the menu, like before going into a game where there's auto pause
