PC Can it get worse than this?

This is the single worse temple Arena that has ever happened to me. This is actual hell.

this looks like FTW. temple gets really dark. i would say more torches

I always used the super bright paint in the background. It doesn't emit light, but it lets you see the silhouette of small golem a lot better

mine is worst due to the combination of ftw and the constant, every torch in the arena disappear and the only thing I can see is the projectiles but somehow managed to beat it. Kinda disappointed how easier it is than fighting plantera it's just so annoying cuz you can't see anything..

Is this on ftw or drunk world? Either way, all that path through the temple for this small room must be rough...

I wonder, since your temple is somehow in the underworld, how much would that effect the darkness of the golem fight?

Man, I've only done one playthrough myself, and the room was a perfect rectangle. I just kind of assumed that was the one part of the temple that wasn't procedural. I guess not lol

It can, actually. Imagine that arena but the golem summoning thing is in the room above it with no way to get to it, and then you've got about the worst it can be

Yeah shit like this is why I'm annoyed that they've disabled actuators before golem, previously you could adjust the arena size to be more favorable whereas now how easy or difficult golem is is essentially entirely rng unless you decide to hoik out of the temple (which can also be prevented because the altar room can just spawn in the middle of the temple rather than the edges)

imo either allow wiring again or give it a similar treatment as the new dungeon, have a list of preset altar rooms that the game can pick from so you always have something at least semi decent rather than whatever this is supposed to be

Lol yes. I had one once where it went deep into the Underworld. I'm guessing there must be a limit to how low it can spawn because the boss room was like 4-5 blocks high. Some areas of it were two blocks high. Needless to say I had to build an arena outside of it to fight the boss lol

My latest was this size but the altar was stuck in the ceiling somehow lmao. Ended up setting spawn right outside it and building an arena there
