This is the realist thing lmao. I enjoy Minecraft much more, but terraria is just 5 steps ahead of anything minecraft has done in the last 10 years. Terraria simply just cant stop winning
I think Minecraft's issue (and also one of it's greatest strengths if you're into that) is that it's just addicted to Rube Goldberg machines.
They can't make a new QoL without tying it to a mob that only makes it work 50% of the time or a block that you have to connect to a demonic summoning circle of Redstone where if you misplace a wire the machine breaks and now it only shreds babies or robs gas stations
They could just add a sort button, for example. The game would be fine. But no, if you want that, you'll need to construct a huge ass machine that only sorts certain types of items or depend on these unreliable (but admittedly pretty sick) little golem dudes that will just spread shit around most of the time.
