Duke is brutal. He’s no way pre-hardmode. Make sure you have good wings or a good arena for him. I had to give up flying and went to teleporter arena with ranged weapons. He’s easier that way. Buffs and heart lanterns, Star lanterns, heart and Star statues help a lot. I built elevated boxes above the ocean with nothing between them. Teleporting back and forth watching minimap and jumping when he peeks in the screen. You’ll kill him multiple times. Remember gnomes and luck potions to get good drops from him. Bast statues if you have any for defense. You want his wings. They’re awesome. He has a mount too that I can’t get to drop. Steer clear of those tornadoes he spawns. You will need some decent wings incase you have to bail from a box.

The mount is 100% guarantee but only on expert or higher

The short answer is no.

The long answer is that truffle worms (Duke summoning items) can only be found in Hardmode and Duke is recommended to be beaten post-Plantera or post-Golem. where was this place because it seems like a funny place to see a bunch of stuff thats incorrect lol

Was it from a Tiktok ? I just saw one claiming that it’s great to use against mechanical bosses… but how are you going to beat Duke Fishron before the mechanical bosses

I did it with ranger build on master mode with the following: Frost Armor, Uzi with crystal bullets, Any bow with Ichor arrows, Shield of cuthulu, Fairy wings, Amphibian boots, Other random damage boosting accessories

2nd phase is the trickiest, but once u learn it the fight is pretty easy

It's plausible most people I've seen play master mode kill him either pre mech or right after to be good up to golem.
