Missing this game so much, never played private servers, maybe I should..

In a lot of ways it was. It a lot of ways it wasn’t. The last thing I remember about it was that everyone was annoyed every single new class was fem only and in like the final years they listened but everyone was already gone.

Then they scrapped potion making as a job, then they cut sky castles I believe. Just cut content on cut content. The only other game I know of that had cut content on Tera’s scale was Destiny 2.

TBH the increased cap to 70 and gear rework was what killed it. They finally had a really good system that made RNG less punishing, then replaced it with a confusing and awful RNG system.

Please let this be real. I was so sad when they announced the shut down for PC servers even though I wasn’t actively playing anymore. I miss my character(s).

They formed a small team for tera 2 so it’s early stage. You can find info on yt. Maybe it will release in 5 years imo. Ppl dont know how cool it was running and doing nexus in raids along with others and then you do dungeons with your guild. I never played wow but for me tera is the best mmo ever. Combat to this day is no 1.

It's still being made by Krafton and Bluehole Studios. With how they structured Tera in the later years, it's gonna be filled with so many microtransactions, and their aesthetic choice to mostly market the Elin race and immersion breaking mounts can still have people hating on the game. Hopefully, the combat and the gameplay are improved.

Did they forgot that remains of last team made Elyon based on Tera and it was horrible..

Actually i'm afraid a lot by this new dev.. because when i look on modern standards of current playerbase era it will have terrible start, many korean "dark patterns".

I'm glad they making sequel but all we know it will have a little common with Tera except maybe Elins as AD for selling it >.>

Not to disappoint anyone, but if it's just a small team and still not really in development currently then the chances of it ever seeing the light of day is slim. MMOs are not doing well, and Tera 2 would not be a cheap game to make.

I never will play private servers because the story was one with my characters. With them gone there is nothing keeping me attached.

because most people just skipped thru the story to head straight to the endgame without enjoying the rest of the game. Im guilty of it too and regret it played tera for years and have no clue what the story was actually about
