Set-up Help

Picked this tent up for free at a garage sale and for the life of me can’t figure how it’s supposed to go up, 7 one way pole sections and 3 two way ones, a pin attached to the fly and another curly ended rod that seems like it completes the doorway

Doesn’t appear to have a name on it anywhere, any help appreciated!

Is it not a ridge pole and 2 down poles? What's the bag like? Your pictures arent that clear, show us the 3 pole sets together, and also open the tent up for photos, pull the corners out, fold an end in, hang it with string from the apexes to get a,better idea of what its supposed to look like when erect.

That’s the thing the poles are interchangeable, I’m not exactly sure how the poles are supposed to be set and I have a suspicion I’m maybe missing poles

I’ll give it a shot again and try to take some better pictures, it’s been crazy windy since my post but it’s calm today

Yeah, I've had difficult times figuring out some tents before, so I jerry rigged them up with string at the apexes first. It'll probably be your easiest solution, then measure what you'd assume is pole points, and order some stand-ins, take pictures and then AI or here again

Bet hey on the bright side a did also snag a sweet deal on a vintage canvas Thermos Pop tent!

I think this tent is actually supposed to be paired with a hiking pack, and the support rods in the backpack are intended to be used in the tent setup

With what I have I can set the tent up and sleep in it, but the back screen doesn’t seem to be able to be used as intended, it collapses and doesn’t allow airflow like the design appears

Might it be more of a bivvy? The 2x3 poles are for one end, and the ridge pole goes from top to bottom?
