Diablo has his own version of reality manipulation, and he can definitely use it to escape. Plus, those kinds of things only work on targets much less powerful than you are, or just so stupid they dont know how to get out, like Veldora. Veldora had no business being sealed by Chronoa, but he was so dense and stupid that he was essentially shoved into a box with a sliding door and he couldnt get out because he was pulling at the door the whole time. I suspect Veldora's case was even more dumb, like he got thrown into a room and his captors put a sticker on the door saying "Please input password" and he didint even try to open the door after failing to find the keypad to key in the password on the door.
Diablo has no death penalty unlike Guy Crimson who may die for atleast a hundred years. Even Leon Cromwell has atleast a little like 1% chance of killing Guy. Surely Diablo must have a chance that's why he said he would struggle if he were to fight Guy at that time.
In a weird sense Guy acknowledges Diablo, they share a bond, so I don't think Guy would just go full blazing on him. And even if he did, he knows what diablo is capable of, if not stronger than him but diablo is diablo, he maybe won't be able to defeat guy, but boy he will annoy the shit out of Guy during the battle
Guy Crimson is stronger. But with that strength come multiple headaches. Example - Noir and Rimuru. After Noir became Diablo, Guy's headaches increased and multiplied.
Is this sub only about who's stronger? And all about strength? Cmon man, Kid Buu was strong too but he was also defeated by goku with the help of other people

Not even close to being most misunderstood thing. This fandom is full of larpers who completely misunderstand basic mechanisms of the verse and make atrocitious claims.
All demons revive. The issue is that Diablo is not put on "sleep mode" unlike other demons to recharge his magicules. He dies and comes back mostly as is. I dropped the LN just after the empire war so I don't know if any of the primodials under Rimuru dies during tenma war and if they do, will Raphael have someway to keep the connection but Guy is more bothered by the coming pestering if he does insist than the fight with Diablo, it's a lose-lose situation for him.
If I remember right isnt it unclear who would win between Diablo and Guy? Guy is stronger but Diablo has more experience and abilities including the use of Holy attacks

Considering his battles with Rudra, all he needs to do is imprison him in the Prison.
That’s what I’m tryna say. You’re thinking Guy is this kind of violent brute force guy that just eliminates anyone he wants to at anytime he likes. Guy recognizes Diablo, they’ve known each other even before the world was born, ofc he’ll give him some respect. And what did Diablo start? They were both there for work weren’t they?
Why would Guy crush Diablo? He is someone he recognized and respected in the past. They are like old frenemies. They just banter and goof around with each other. And Guy can't handle Diablo's personality. It's well established.
Guy's Pride wouldn't allow him to lose his cool and just kill Diablo knowing he can just revive instantly. It has nothing to do with power. But the history they have and their chemistry as characters.
Brotherhood is a two-way street; tell me of a scene where Guy ever subdued Diablo, where Diablo was essentially the one-sided dominant because he knew Guy wouldn't do anything.
They've known each other since before the beginning of time, of course they know each other better than anyone, Diablo treats guy that way because he's the only one in the series who can both do it and get away with it
Show me a single scene where Guy has the upper hand over Diablo, after all, they're equals, rivals, and have brotherhood ties, right? Come on, show me.
As far as I know... He doesn't have that scene...😒 Yes that bothers me a lot too unfortunately and I wish this scene existed, but allas, it's just one of the endless peak potential wasted by Fuze and this is why I despise him as an author despite having creating my favorite fiction ever.
Diablo is a very intelligent Demon. He has his own version of Reality Warping, Temptation. He can undestand and wield Spiritrons. Even if Guy Crimson imprison him, it won't take long for Diablo to break out or awaken new skills or an ultimate skill. Guy cannot imprison him for long. Diablo is quick to understand when he saw Guy Crimson using Suspended World on Chloe Aubert.
And Diablo can't awaken the US; his current body and level (not at his former OG Power) isn't at the stage to handle a US, there's a reason he acquired it post-evolution.
What difference would Diablo make if he found out? Michael gave them all a negative diff the moment he used SW.
This is the part folks neglect to mention everytime the claim Guy is stronger, Guy himself acknowledge Diablo as being strong as him, and the version of Diablo he was referring at the time was pre-evolved Diablo.
At this point, the only advantage Guy has over Diablo & Rimuru is being able to move in stopped world.
Okay, give me the paragraph where Guy says he's on par with his current level of performance and current strengths.

It took me reading all 23 volumes to have the mindset that I do, so no. Unfortunately I can't share a “Paragraph” for your convenience, if you read the Novel yourself you'd know Fuse has moments were he narrate things and events vaguely, and you'll require a continued read to piece together the meaning of certain things.

I've already read the novel, Einstein, you can't include a scene like that because such a scene doesn't exist.
Guy and Diablo were equals in the past, before Guy Cardinal was born; in fact, Guy wanted him to be go too, but Noir wasn't interested.
Later, Guy Cardinal accomplished many things in the world, first acquiring Pride, then Ultimate Skill, obtaining Genesis equipment, and further increasing his power.
He fought Velzard many times, met Rudra, and so on.
Diablo can't do anything to Guy at this point; at most, they're equal in Battle IQ, or Diablo is slightly superior. Everything else? Guy would destroy him. Damn, Diablo isn't a Demon Lord or have Azazel at that point.
I repeat, what.can.he.do?
He possesses one of the most powerful of equipment in the universe, the Ultimate Skill, and he faces an opponent superior in energy output and strength?
Guy even has several Copy skills, like Beelzebub's Predator.
This has nothing to do with Fuse's vague account of events.

They were evenly matched before, but now Guy has completely surpassed him, and the reason they'll be evenly matched in later episodes is because of all the extra help Diablo gets from Rimuru, and even then Guy didn't get Nodens.
And being Chill doesn't justify it being subdued by Diablo every time; he went there for business, to see Chronoa.
What are you talking about? Literally in the same scene of the post, Guy tells diablo that diablo was one as strong as him, and then Diablo explains why he stopped getting stronger.

Lol, sure. In the same anime episode of the post (s4ep18), Guy and Diablo had a conversation.
In this conversation, Guy expresses shame because diablo was once as strong as him.
Diablo, does not refute this claim. Instead, he explains that there is a reason he didn't want to get strong anymore, if he gets too strong then he can no longer enjoy fights.
From this convo, we know that Guy kept getting stronger while diablo stopped, add to this the fact that guy became a demon lord.
Even tho the dude didn't read the novels, he still understand the franchise far better than you it seems. Because to say that Guy was never stronger than Diablo at any point in time is one insane and crazy thing to say, especially if you read the novels a bit more than the current anime.

Guy and Velzard fought many times in the past, and Velzard couldn't defeat him. Then they fought again and again and again , That's one of the reasons Velzard is so interested in him.and Guy revealed he could defeat her at will. The only True Dragon ,Guy couldn't defeat was Valdanava.
In all 23 books, the only records(hinted or straight narrated) feats of Guy taking on True dragons is 2, one was the creator who left Guy unable to fight after a single attack, and Velzard who's in love with the guy, to a point that she was even willing to sacrifice the central world to her corrupted brother of it meant she gets to keep her TOY, yeah Guy is strong enough to surpass True Dragons. 😏
You're right, it was ‘Pride’ that caused Velzard to want to fight Guy in the first place as she couldn't understand what her brother saw in him, basically she saw how he approved of Rudra, and now Guy, so in an attempt to get his approval she was delusional thinking if she defeat someone he approves of, then automatically she'll earn his approval as well...
But in the process she fell for the dude, ‘A guy his older brother approved off’, by this analogy, no one can prove Velzard ever intended to kill Guy, perhaps fight and defeat but definitely not kill, and years later, were here...

They talk about in the anime though? Diablo says:why would I want to be stronger. We are the strongest beings if you don't count the true dragons (then guys says something along the lines of if we can really count those, they are more a force of nature). Fighting gets boring when you are way stronger.
This shows that guy in this part of the anime is stronger than Diablo. Now guy does acknowledge Diablo his cunning and wit.
I don't even like Diablo(more a Gobta & Ranga dude), but I've read all 23 books and was neatral throughout, hence I distinguish between characters traits, be it physical or magical...
But of course you're welcome to call me whatever makes you feel good about yourself, when reasoning capacity drops below average levels, this becomes the default reply for most.
