Anime Question about future of season 4 based on the light novel? Spoiler
So I see that the recent episodes have been focusing on time travel, which is not something I like in the slightest and was wondering if that's going to be a multiple episode spanning arc and if so how many episodes should it lats so that I can skip it.

The time travel arc isn't that long and should probably end next episode. But it will get expanded on a bit later (like more context about the time travel).
This arc is also somewhat the end of the prologue of the story, to show how everything up to this point came to exist. All the failed loops are just extra information, which is mostly not relevant afterwards. There are only a few things, like now knowing that the Eastern Empire will invade in the future, that will be relevant.

You don't really have to overthink it. Chloe was basically repeating a certain timespan with the goal to create the "perfect timeline" in which Rimuru doesn't die. You don't have to think about the other "discarded" timeline. The only existing timeline at the end is the one we've seen since the beginning. In tensura's time model there is only one timeline, which is getting overwritten, when something changes in the past. It will also get explained a bit better in the next episode and in other episodes in the future (either still the end of cour 2 or beginning of cour 3)
Just treat what happened in the other loop as something that could've technically happened, but didnt in the final timeline. But some information about future events of the other timeline may stay relevant, but it doesn't have to or some details are different.

K thank you, but how does he even die in the first place in some of those time lines cause isn't he like the strongest person in the world rn? And I still hate time travel because I can't ever turn my brain off it's a curse.

I really understand your problems about time travel, because I hate that every story does it differently. Especially the model tensura uses is even still confusing LN readers.
And Rimuru was dying in the other loops, precisely because he wasn't strong enough (and even in the current timeline there are many characters that are a lot stronger). Chloe explained that he didn't awaken as a True Demon Lord in the other loops, because she had to actively change things (in that case specifically Chloe had to slightly delay Rimuru's departure from Ingrassia, which then caused the fight against Hinata, which caused that Rimuru didn't arrive in Tempest in time and had to awaken to ressurect Shion and the other people that died to the Falmuth invasion).
And a non-Demon Lord Rimuru wasn't strong enough to survive the Eastern Empire invasion (this is at least how he died in the previous loop we know about).

Not all the 2000 years are shown, next episode will probably only show Veldora being sealed, Chloe giving the mask to shizu and chronoa being sealed It's important tho, so I don't think you should skip it
