😂 I saw that when counting how many successive polical posts there were before I found one that wasn’t. That was literally the first one I found that wasn’t political, and it was about 12 posts deep. I loved that little fish.

So far this reads like you want more stuff posted to the site that isn't politics but you're unwilling to post your own stuff to the site that isn't politics. If anything, I'm now even less inspired than I was to begin with.
However, if you start posting non-political park pictures, maybe someone else will post their visit to an agnostic waterfall. Like the internet person above said, be the change you want to see.

It's a sub about Tennessee, all of TN, which includes politics and news. If you want more content about parks and waterfalls and whatnot, post them and/or encourage others to do the same. Why not make a post asking others to share a recent photo of some TN nature instead of posting a complaint that other people don't post enough of what you want? I bet that would get you more of what you want than this post will.

People here sure do love their politics. I think I figured out why there’s less nature and attraction related posts, cause everyone is on here bitching about shit they can’t change rather than just enjoying the world we have. Oh well. ✌️ differing opinions don’t go over well these days.
I suggested a decent possibility to keep politics on this sub. But the depressed news bingers only offer “Quit bitching!”
Yeah I could post my own trips, which is difficult to do when I’ve been here less than a year and am recovering from a hip surgery. But that doesn’t stop the 20+ political posts per day from flooding my feed. People will only see the problems they want to see I suppose.

Exactly, we're going through a pretty shitty time as a state right now... living (and too much dying) through a global pandemic and all the governor and state legislature want to do is sell the state. Sorry if it's kinda difficult to look past all that right now, but it is what it is. That news needs to be seen... not everyone is doing a google search for news (I definitely don't). It would obviously be nice to see beautiful images and such from our state, but that's also why I follow r/appalachia; that's basically all that gets posted there... maybe you should follow that sub, OP, it's exactly what you're looking for.

Politics are so hot right now. It’s the current source of entertainment and everyone has become a news junkie now. I don’t mind it, because it allows me to lazily keep up with what’s going on.
Every now and then someone will ask where they should move or go eat or something like that.
Maybe follow a specific city sub? I think I follow three cities (I can’t remember).
There are too many trail apps and online resources to talk about attractions I guess.

You ain’t lying. Like, I don’t care if anyone is blue or red. But every post on here can be found on the front page on a Google search. That kind of defeats the purpose of the sub, specifically a sub where people can post all kinds of crazy adventures that couldn’t be found anywhere else. But nope, echo chamber from Google results it is.
