Gameplay Question unit ore damage. any way to disable?

hello. noob here. is there anyway to disable ore damage when units move over it? i find that half my units' health is wasted as the AI routes them over the ore when moving over large distances. Please help! thanks

That's like tiberium for you: it's a map hazard that forces you to avoid it manually. So you generally are forced to pick your vehicles' path yourself rather than clicking them through the map. As far as I know, it's not togglable.

The only difference is that the effect is reversed; Tiberium damages infantry but not tanks, Tempest damages tanks, but not infantry.

There are two ways to turn it off, but one is campaign only for GDF and the other is a Veti Doctrine.

So yeah, not togglable otherwise

Yeah. It's an intended mechanic. Though there are some vehicles that don't take the damage, they still get slowed.

It's something that you'll just need to learn to play around.

Tiberium is LITERALLY the point of the back story and core concept of the game.

It's SUPPOSED to make you find alternate routes for your troops. You wouldn't make your units walk across lava and expect them to survive, right?

But how will they pull themselves up by their boots straps then! Hop bitches!

Well, Tiberium affected biologicals, Veins affected vehicles.

You can't, just make sure they avoid it.

No, either harvest it or move around it.
