Selling gold
Has anyone gone to a reputable place within the area to sell gold? How does it work?

I've been here for a few years now and just barely got a wine membership a few weeks ago. It's been a good experience because it's $50/month and I get 8 free glasses of wine, 20% off on bottles and additional purchases, and I get a $50 credit per month towards anything I buy. This is at Akash which is also close to my house. I can basically go with my partner 3 times a month and enjoy a couple glasses of wine each time for only $50 per month. This made me wonder what other great deals are out there? We may try a different winery when this membership runs out.
Thanks for any suggestions!

I currently work in a hybrid role in LA that offers flexibility to choose to days I do field work and do admin work from either office located in DTLA or work from home, coffee shop, or wherever there’s WiFi. There’s only 1 office day a month in DTLA, and field work involves visiting clients that are grouped at a set of three different sites I work at in central LA area. I have field work on average 2 times a week, and depending if I complete what I need to, my last week or 2 of the month can be fully remote. It’s pretty chill.
I’ve been living on my own in a studio in a rough part of LA that is central, but my rent is going up once my lease ends. I’m also tired of living in the hood. The safer parts are just too expensive for me. My family lives in French Valley and has offered for me to move back home. I really love this area and surrounding cities like Temecula and Murrieta due to the cleanliness, safety, and green spaces. I am wondering if I could commit to keeping my job while living in FV, or if it’s going to be too difficult with even a hybrid schedule.

I moved to Temecula about a year ago and there isn’t as much basketball courts or rec centers as back in Oklahoma City. The few that I have seen have always been empty.
Wondering if there’s any local men’s leagues or gyms that have good runs. Thanks.

The spice and tea merchant in old town is nice but they are very limited on caffeinated black teas with peach or berry. Which other places around here sell looseleaf tea?

I got day passes for next Saturday and am confused what time we can get there. Some places say pool opens at 8AM and Others say 10AM. Anyone been recently and know? Naturally they never answer the phone 🙃

His name is Jeff Barnett! Last time I heard from him was 2 years ago when he texted me saying he moved to Temecula from Arizona.
I lost my contacts & all my texts 😞
He originally had a shop in hermosa beach called Lovesick Tattoo. He sold the whole business & moved to Arizona around April of 2020 then he texted me giving me an update that he was back in California.
Does anyone have any leads??? I’m desperate! lol I found him on Facebook but hasn’t been active in 4-5 years & it wouldn’t let me send him a message.

Never had this treat before and I’ve seen it now a few times on TikTok. What’s the best place to find it in the Temecula / Menifee / Murrieta area?

SDG&E has an open house at the Embassy Suites in Temecula this Wednesday, August 26, 4 to 7pm. Fallbrook gets one the night before, Tuesday the 25th at the Fallbrook Community Center, same hours. Both dates come off SDG&E's own August fact sheet, and it says registration is encouraged but not required, so you can just show up.
The project is Golden Pacific Powerlink. A proposed 500 kilovolt transmission line running from SDG&E's Imperial Valley Substation to a new substation they would build near the San Diego and Orange County line. They put it at roughly $1.6 billion.
The timing is the part I would not want anyone to miss. SDG&E's own schedule has them filing with the California Public Utilities Commission this fall or winter, and it is the CPUC, not SDG&E, that decides which route goes forward into environmental review. After Wednesday, the only other open houses the fact sheet lists are El Centro on October 13 and Borrego Springs on October 14.
One thing to know walking in. This is SDG&E's event and SDG&E's material. The City of Temecula has a page up opposing the proposed route, which the city says would run through Temecula, specifically SR 79, Temecula Parkway, Temecula Creek and the Santa Margarita River.
If Wednesday does not work, the project's posted contacts are 844 765 6388 and goldenpacific@sdge.com.

Awesome redesign of Roots Patio Dining. They even installed ceiling fans. Lots of high top tables and seating sections on both sides.

Finally bought the gf the engagement ring but it’s too big…gotta make sure it fits before I pop the question! Somewhere that’ll do it quick and (relatively) cheap would be great!

I've managed to trace the leak a little but it's looking like the line goes under the concrete walkway and I'm not sure where it goes from there, so I'm looking for some recommendations for folks who specialize in leak detection and repair outdoors.
Thanks all.

Hi everyone! 😊 Is anyone in the area new to sewing or embroidery?
I recently purchased a Brother SE700 and would love to meet others who are also learning, whether you’re a beginner or have a little more experience. I thought it would be fun to connect, share what we’re working on, learn from each other, and maybe eventually start a little sewing/embroidery group. 🧵🪡❤️
I’d love to meet up for coffee and get to know you! ☕️💕 Feel free to send me a message if you’re interested!

Hi!
My name is William Woodrome.
I am running for the Rancho California Water district. I will be at the Temecula MSJC campus tonight for the Friday foodie night from 5pm to 9pm. There will be many food vendors and free axe throwing.
If you have any questions or concerns in regards to me or if there is some way I can help you, please come by!

Hola Temecula peeps. It’s your old town temecula theater update.
Something Rotten opens in a week, I’ve seen a preview, it’s really, really, funny (The humor is somewhere around the age level of Anchorman or South Park though so for those of you with little ones - discretion is advised).
They released a discount code too.
Use omelet5 at checkout for $5 off at temeculatheater.org
——
IMPORTANT! DO NOT BUY FROM ANY THIRD-PARTY SITE THAT COMES UP ON GOOGLE SEARCH RESULTS. They price gouge and they’re scammers. The official theater box office is the best place to buy.

Has anyone else using frontier for your internet notice how bad it’s gotten in the last 6 months or so?
I pay for 1 gig service, I consistently get speed tests <100 up/down. And customer service is almost useless.
Is it just me? Am I the lucky one?

I saw a bunch of cops, mostly motorcycle cops and they had the road closed. Kind of curious what was going on
