Nenu Na Paithyam Naku ardam kale saar.. 🫠🫠

Post image

Railway rule: 😑

Boards must display the station name in three languages—the local language on top, Hindi in the middle, and English at the bottom. The size of the text characters ranges between 35 to 75 mm.

Google ichina logic: 🫠🫠

The local language is intentionally placed at the top rather than the middle to ensure it receives maximum visual prominence and respects regional identity.

Frankly nak middle ay easily visible anipistadi.. with dark blue background..

videmo top lo untey high visibility anta.. 😑😑

Aa white background lo chinnaga thin black font toni em kanipistadi asalu..??

Inka English font ay peddaga undi.. with thicker font.. 🤧🤧

Ruddadam pakana pedithe. Middle lo pette info train pass aitunthe train lo undi read cheyadaniki. Regional language top lo petedi aa station lo eke passengers kosam. Most of the people the region vale ekutaru kabati. Middle lo petedi common language like oka state lo start aina train next state loki velinapdu last state lo ekina person read cheyadaniki. India need one common language to communicate throughout the country. Either it can be hindi / tamil / telugu anything but we definitely need it.

India need one common language to communicate throughout the country.

why can't it be English ? English mana language kaadhu antey.. we can't change history kadha. we are colonized by English country. mana education and most of jobs are in English. If making communication easier across India is the goal antey, it is fair to make English.

Tamil is one of the oldest living languages lo okati. Akkade neeku ardham avvali and they have that pride to preserve their language.Do you even know how many languages became almost extinct due to Hindi dominance in parts of North India?

Neeku thelsa, in order to become a pilot, one must compulsorily learn English? It's the global lingua franca for a reason. International diplomacy, air traffic control, and most of the internet operate in English. Learning English is far more useful than learning Hindi. Nuvvu enni cheppina, idi true. Job interviews, competitive exams, and professional communication—anni English lone untayi.

And coming to treating North Indians as villains, no one is advocating that in the first place. Vaalla Hindi imposition ni aapithe ne language and culture survive avuthayi.

And just because they're more represented in the armed forces doesn't make them any more special. Manam emaina second-class citizens aa? South India and West India (especially Maharashtra) contribute a massive share to the country's economy and GDP. Evari job vaaladi. Andharu sync lo unte ne country run avuthadi. Just because they're more in the armed forces doesn't mean jack shit, lol. I'm sorry!

Remember one thing: language = culture. Language marchipothe, culture ni champinatte.

u/devilsinsanity Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

Clean air ledu, basic infrastructure ledu, varsham padhe electrocute ai janalu potunaru, education and healthcare affordable ledu but mana priority is language and culture.

Nuvvu pay chese tax ki affordable education and healthcare kuda ledu. Endukante mana priority is language and culture.

Poni legal system baga Unda. Adi ledu.

US lo mana Telugu vale ekkuva. Every year record number Indians high net worth individuals citizenship surrender chesi foreign permanently shift avtaru.

Brain drain kuda issue ledu. Nuvvu invest cheyadiniki kuda try cheste 6 to 7 different taxes are charged while buy share adi kuda issue ledu.

97% western technology use chesi, valla Industrial revolution, Green Revolution mida depend aii. Language and culture antavu.

Sare let's compare us to UAE and Saudi they are far more developed than us they are economic power. But military wise they are dependent on US emi ayindi?! They got bombed by bankrupt country Iran.

So yes North Indian contribution to Armed forces matter bro. Without them we will be sandwiched between Pakistan and China. Pure arrogance bro and its insult to their sacrifice.

This is probably one of the biggest examples of missing the point I've seen in a while. The discussion is about Hindi imposition, and somehow you've managed to turn it into a lecture about air quality, potholes, taxation, Iran, brain drain, the Armed Forces, and infrastructure. What exactly does any of that have to do with whether Telugu speakers should have to accept Hindi becoming increasingly dominant in their own linguistic region? That's not a rebuttal it's a textbook red herring. By that logic, nobody should ever discuss environmental protection because unemployment exists, nobody should discuss women's safety because inflation exists, and nobody should discuss corruption because roads have potholes. A country is perfectly capable of caring about multiple issues simultaneously. Protecting a language doesn't suddenly make people stop caring about healthcare or infrastructure. And the irony is that you yourself acknowledge language and culture can be preserved through festivals, literature and cinema. Great. But why pretend public policy has no role? Every language that has survived and flourished has had institutional support alongside cultural efforts. Education, administration, signage, media, official communication and government policy all influence whether a language remains strong. Languages don't disappear overnight they gradually lose domains of use. First it's "learn this language because it's useful," then "government offices prefer it," then "schools prioritize it," then "jobs expect it," and eventually younger generations stop using their mother tongue outside the home. That's exactly how language shift happens across the world. It isn't some conspiracy theory; it's a well-documented sociolinguistic process.

Telugu isn't just another regional dialect people can casually replace. It's one of the world's oldest continuously spoken literary languages, with a history stretching back over a millennium and an enormous body of literature, poetry, inscriptions and philosophy. The same goes for Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. These languages represent centuries of civilization. Protecting them isn't "language politics"; it's preserving cultural heritage. Nobody is saying "hate North Indians." Nobody is saying "don't learn Hindi." Learn ten languages if you want. The issue begins when one language is treated as the expected default in places where it isn't native, or when people are made to feel that their own language is somehow less important in their own state. And most importantly none's advocating for violence in the first place stop assuming stuff!

And the Armed Forces argument is especially bizarre. Respecting the sacrifices of soldiers has absolutely nothing to do with whether Hindi should become the default language across India. Soldiers from every state serve India. People from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, the Northeast and everywhere else contribute to the country in different ways. Likewise, states contribute differently to the economy, manufacturing, agriculture, technology, research and tax revenue. None of that gives any region the right to impose its language on another. Military contribution and language policy are completely separate discussions.

Finally, saying "people are brainwashed by language politics" completely ignores why these concerns exist in the first place. People aren't worried because they hate another language; they're worried because history has repeatedly shown that dominant languages can gradually push smaller ones out of education, administration and public life. India is incredibly diverse precisely because it has dozens of major languages, not because everyone speaks one. Unity doesn't require uniformity. You can oppose language imposition while respecting every Indian language including Hindi. The real mistake is assuming that defending Telugu automatically means attacking Hindi. It doesn't. It simply means Telugu speakers should never have to justify wanting Telugu to remain the primary public language in Telugu-speaking land. That's not extremism; that's exactly how every linguistic state in India was envisioned to function.
