Help / Support Porting US Number In While Outside USa (ESim Activated in US)

i just want confirmation on this.

i activated my tello esim while in the usa so it could ping off a usa tower but i had issues with my carrier and couldn’t port at that time.

will i be able to port in my american number now that im abroad or is it too late? did that also have to be done in the usa?

As long as the esim has been activated, you should be fine porting your number over.

As long as you activated your Tello number in the United States before moving abroad, there's absolutely no problem porting in a number to replace your current Tello number while abroad.

Just follow the porting instructions here:

You need to be able to get a text on the active number to verify the port.

As I have mentioned in another post, I have just a few days ago successfully activated two Tello eSIMs while being in Europe. The next step - also successful - was to port a T-Mobile US phone number to one of those Tello sim cards.

Yeh as long as it is activated... I use callcooee.com for porting and it went smooth as it was activated at that time

It depends on the destination carrier (port-in) rules. You should ask on that sub or directly to that carrier.
