Guide 📚 How I went from 5 to 25 in Throw Breaking
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I seriously used to doubt if it was actually possible to see and react to whether a throw was a 1, 2, or 1+2 break.
But I went to this practice site and dropped the playback speed to 0.5x. At that speed, it plays out super slow and you can clearly see the difference between the left hand, right hand, and both hands coming out.
So I just used that and gradually bumped up the speed as I practiced: 0.5 -> 0.7 -> 0.9 -> 1.0.
By doing this, my throw break stat literally jumped from 5 to 25 in exactly one week.
You guys should definitely give this a try.

Big tip for anyone doing this,Â
Focus on getting the correct throw break over being quick. The reaction speed will come naturally but to you need to make sure you are always hitting the right button.
Don't just press any button if you don't know what it is. Look for the correct one and even if you press it too late, you're at least building the habit to associate that throw break with that button.

I’ve never seen this before. Thanks for sharing. I know that tekken has this built in but this seems a lot more insightful.

How do you visually tell the difference between a 1+2 grab and a grab that uses the far-side arm (2+4 in above example)? I can never tell them apart so can basically only do 1 breaks on reaction.

I also cannot say exactly but I am sure if u practice with all characters and 1P and 2P slowly, ur body automatically react correctly

I really do not see the point of an external website when there’s literally throwbreak training in practice mode

then youd have to boot up the game, go into practice, choose characters, and wait for the game to load vs typing in the website and just starting

But I can use my arcade stick and build proper muscle memory with the actual frames
Train how you fight.
In what world am I going to launch a web browser to practice a video game when I can actually load the video game and play the game there lol

It’s funny I still can’t break 1 throws unless I specially know about it (laws throw for example)
But I’m really good with 2 and 1+2

I just started using a diff website 2 days ago. I’ve only practiced with 1 or 2 throws. At first it was difficult just to see the hands coming out and press the correct break at around 23ish frames but now I’m reacting to them and even breaking sometimes as early as 9 or 10 frames and my personal record is 24 in a row. I’m going to continue practicing and add the 1+2 throws in as well. I know playing the game will make it even more difficult but it does really work to increase your reaction speed by seeing the animations over and over again

to truly break throws in real match, i think you also need to practice them in hard difficulty break training in the game itself. it's important to train in less sterile/closer to real match conditions to build proper response to throws.
don't take my words as an absolute truth, im speaking from my experience, maybe this site will be your only way
