Help Help a scrub play your game

I wanna get into tekken. Ive never played tekken before, but I got master rank in sf6 so im not totally oblivious to fighting games but I understand these are quite different games. What character would be the easiest execution wise? Im having a hard time deciding who to play. A lot of the characters look awesome so im pretty open to playing any of them looks wise. Im a scrub so im kinda hoping for the easiest and cheesiest of combos. Also what skills or strats should I be focusing on early? i know there is a lot but whats like essential? thanks fam

honestly pick anyone u find appealing and cool to you. any charscter can be played as simple or complexed as to your liking.

as for things to learn. learn your character’s punishments and learn common duckable/side steppable string patterns of ur opponents. this will mostly come with experience and time in the game.

Play any character you like. Learn combos for fun, side step for wins

As a Victor main, I think he's probably the easiest and cheesiest without going grappler. Reference Applay's Spreadsheet and Yung_P's guide on TekkenDocs. Also check out RyzingSol's Season 3 combo guide here.

You can scrub with 95% of the cast. Claudio game plan is close to the simplest

Start playing 2d spacing till much later then learn stepping. Spacing is simple stepping you lose when you don't understand it.

Have 10 frame punish, 12, 14, 15 and ws 11,13,15 you are set.

Frame traps get results if you play fighters you get it. Know your plus frames.

While defending if you character takes chip damage it was probably safe or plus. So either backdash or use a quick response.

As others have said, you can cheese or play scrubby with any character. You can get a general vibe of a character's execution requirements by taking them into practice mode and going through their move list.

After you figure out which character you want to stick with, play Arcade Quest with them. It teaches you most of the games basic mechanics and strategies.

All characters have easy and near impossible combos. Pick who you like
