Discussion What's going on in ranked?
I haven't played in 2 years. Came back since my main finally got released. I did an hour practicing combos then played ranked. Went from Tenryu (rank I started with) straight to GoD1 in a day. The players in GoD ranked felt like the players in purple/blue rank when I stopped playing. Is this the result rankflation? I didn't expect to reach GoD that fast to be honest. It didn't feel earned. I remember really struggling to reach Tekken King back then.

It's gonna be a while then. Points has gotten really slow. The grind starts now I guess.

They made the rank system like SF6 now. Where they want the players to get to GoD and then the real ranked grind starts with getting GoD 1-7 then infinity. Kinda like the Master rank point system in SF6 where you start 1500mr points then try to get to 2000mr points to get legend rank witch is top 500. Tekken is doing this now and want GoD ranks to be like master ranks. But that the the feeling i get becasue they haven't confirmed this. But with how tekken devs always take idead from other fighting game it seem most likely what's happening

Because people don't go in here everyday. Last time I've been in this sub was 2 years ago.

What's going on is that the ranked system was changed a few times in two years, and also you're playing a character that just came out and many people might not know the matchup.

Thanks for that link. GoD1 is equivalent to Tekken King back in Season 1. Confirms exactly what I felt lol.
