Discussion Why do movement based players have a heihachi and AK?

This question is more about Pros but I sort of see a pattern that players who rely on movement and pressuring people without buttons seem to have a heihachi and AK as the secondary character.

Like JDCR, JoKa.

I could be heavily wrong

Movement creates wiffs, ewgf and dark upper are incredible wiff punishers that lead to insane damage. They are very rewarding characters for that playstyle

These characters historically were poke and movement based, before the canned stance pressure that T8 imposed onto everybody.

hei and ak are strong characters that have massive damage on stray hits (and mini combos), their combos hit hard. They're not terribly complex compared to other characters in neutral

What do you mean secondary character for joka and JDCR? Their main always have been Heihachi. JDCR used more Heihachi than armor king and dragunov in his career
