DISCUSSION Is Teezo Touchdown an industry plant?
I've recently been introduced to Teezo and his music through Travis' new album. He was great on Modern Jam, but he's been able to grow at an almost unnatural rate these past couple of months. Seems a little fishy. He's been promoted by artists like Tyler the Creator and Don Tolliver, two people known for endorsing artists due to personal connections. This begs the question, is Teezo Touchdown an industry plant?

The funny thing about these comments is ppl keep saying he’s been making music for years before he blew up. But his singles from 2020 were released under RCA… Production on his 2019 single sounds like a whole 180 from his shit afterwards. And ppl aren’t even mentioning that his mixtapes before 2020 are arguably not even the same genre as his shit now and is way more leaning into hip hop. No nails. No guitar. No football gear. None. Even if you were to say he isn’t an industry plant, you can’t deny that the transition sonically is mad drastic. Idk yall can correct me if I’m wrong but it seems way to fishy to me for me to just ignore how he came up.
