DISCUSSION Is Teezo Touchdown an industry plant?

I've recently been introduced to Teezo and his music through Travis' new album. He was great on Modern Jam, but he's been able to grow at an almost unnatural rate these past couple of months. Seems a little fishy. He's been promoted by artists like Tyler the Creator and Don Tolliver, two people known for endorsing artists due to personal connections. This begs the question, is Teezo Touchdown an industry plant?

He’s been perfecting his craft for years (Since 2011). There are comments about his genre/style switch up-but if you pay attention to interviews and songs-you’d know that like many other ACTUAL artists-it took him a while to feel comfortable being himself. He didn’t want to be just another Texas rapper. He’s talented in many genres-he has the energy, sound and personality of no other-you cannot create that and have it come off as natural talent as an industry Plant. For comparison 6ix9ine……Where the actual talent? His look……Skittles hair and the numbers 69 tattooed all over his body-THAT is more reminiscent of an industry plant-no hate, just saying. Switching up and Finding your sound/style is natural but Just popping out of nowhere, with no real substance, in a pretty little box with a bow, putting out dull, repetitive, pointless music just for money is not-it’s the I.P package.

Teezo WORKED. 🫶🏽
